ArticleSource revision

Hellish Hell is the one hundred and twenty-seventh episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the fourteenth episode of the sixth season.

Summary#

Izuku narrates as he learns about the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War through the Hero Public Safety Commission's reports.

Prior to the start of the War, Re-Destro accepted a joint venture with the Hero Public Safety Commission, knowing they were suspicious of him but still couldn't ignore the potential of his products.

Once at the headquarters, he meets with Madam President and several members of the Commission. What looked like a business meeting turned out to be a trap, and several Heroes and policemen show up to arrest him. What they did not know is that who they had in front of them was nothing more than a fake. Re-Destro's Double takes the opportunity for a surprise attack on the building, killing and injuring several members, including the President, before dissolving away from his injuries, saying that his people desire "order without order", genuine freedom, and that the seeds have already been sown.

Despite the Commission being thrown into chaos by the event, the Police and Heroes' operation against the Paranormal Liberation Front proceeded as planned. The Commission's report details the events from the start of the raid to when "Tomura Shigaraki" and seven Near High-End Nomu escaped the Heroes, while downplaying the involvement of the Work-Study students.

In the aftermath of the War, all the wounded Heroes are taken to hospitals to recover. Among the Villains who are arrested in Jaku City are Dr. Kyudai Garaki, who is promptly charged with various crimes and interrogated by the Police, Gigantomachia who is air-lifted away, Mr. Compress who is taken to the hospital for his injuries, and several Nomu. At the Gunga Mountain Villa the real Re-Destro and Geten are defeated in battle by Edgeshot and Cementoss respectively and captured, along with Trumpet and 16,929 members of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Other raids across the country at Paranormal Liberation Front branches resulted in the capture of several other members and some Pro Heroes who supported them. However, in addition to Tomura and the Nomu with him, Spinner, Dabi, and Skeptic fled from Jaku, and 132 other Liberation soldiers managed to escape in the wake left by Gigantomachia. Additionally, Ryukyu's interns report that Himiko Toga had escaped, but no one can pursue her because they need to help the injured.

In the remains of the city left behind by Gigantomachia's destruction, Uravity and Froppy manage to rescue a child and his sister trapped under debris. Froppy notices the child was injured and says they should bring him to a shelter for treatment but Uravity hears that someone else needs help and they split up.

Just before she can go, she sees a severely injured man begging for her to save his wife. She manages to find her and reunite her with him before continuing to help others she can find. All around the Heroes work to save as many as they can while the evacuation centers become overwhelmed. As Uravity tries to help another person, she overhears a Pro Hero observing all the carnage, saying how he can't take it anymore and should look for a new line of work, which Uravity watches in shock.

At the same time, the U.A. students discover the corpse of Midnight, and tearfully mourn their teacher and the other fallen Heroes that day, which include Majestic, Crust, Native, X-Less, and others.

According to the Doctor's deposition, Tomura had died when Mirko destroyed the capsule designed to resuscitate him, and that it wasn't the electric shock, but the power of All For One, as well as his dreams and hatred, was what brought him back to life; the result is many Heroes losing their lives in battle.

People all across the country start talking about Dabi's video, with some wondering if it spells the end of Endeavor's Hero career and what will happen next. Some think about leaving the country while others hope for an explanation. Only a few believe everything will be okay.

That same evening, somewhere deep in the forest, All For One, still in command of Tomura's body, states that he won't give anyone a tomorrow or rest because now it is his turn, and it will never end, ordering the Near High-Ends to free his main body in Tartarus.
