Appearance#
Eel Boy was a man of average build and stature. He wore a simple yellow bodysuit decorated with bold black lines, with an identically-colored utility belt and boots with tan rims and soles. The backs of his hands had a circular protrusion to accommodate his Quirk. The mouth area of his mask was also torn open, showing off his somewhat jagged teeth.
In the past, Eel Boy wore a slightly different costume, with most of the lines that make up his current costume being in the form of rings, and the lines on his torso being completely absent. The mouth of his costume also wasn't torn open, being finely fit around his lips.
Personality#
From what little was seen of him, Eel Boy had shown to be a brave and willing hero who moved in to apprehend Himiko Toga and Mr. Compress. He told the two that regardless of their reasons for becoming villains, the heroes couldn't let them have their way if they planned to inflict harm upon society, displaying a strong morality and his desire to protect others.
From Ochaco Uraraka's recollection, Eel Boy was shown smiling upon being encouraged by civilians, indicating that he was supported and well-liked.
Synopsis#
Paranormal Liberation War Arc#
Eel Boy was one of the Heroes assigned to the Villa Raid Team led by Edgeshot.[3] He captures Mr. Compress and Himiko Toga with his Eel Quirk and reports it immediately. Before his Eel could swallow and properly secure the villains, he was stabbed in the back of the head by a Double of the now-dead Twice. Eel Boy was killed instantly and his Quirk deactivated, freeing the two other villains.[1]
Later, Himiko would take on his appearance using her Transform Quirk, slicing through many heroes while impersonating him in a blind rampage to avenge her fellow villain.
After the Paranormal Liberation War had concluded, Eel Boy was counted amongst the list of casualties.
Abilities#
Quirk#
Unnamed Eel Quirk: Eel Boy's Quirk allowed him to sprout giant eel-like appendages out the back of his hands. The eels could attack and restrain opponents by biting, and could swallow opponents as a more secure capture method. They also had enhanced sensory abilities to hone in on Eel Boy's opponents.
