Izuku Midoriya & Giulio Gandini vs. Bruno Gollini is a battle between Deku and Giulio against Bruno Gollini of the Gollini Family.[1]
Prologue#
After breaking free of Deborah's Day Dream and finding out about Giulio's history with Anna, Dark Might calls the Heroes-in-training to let them know that in order to break their spirits, he's going after All Might and U.A. High School, and will rebuild it with a new legacy and power. Dynamight takes charge and tells Ingenium and Creati to lead the evacuees out and find a way to escape, with Deku, Shoto, and Tsukuyomi joining him to stop Dark Might, while the rest of Class A helps the class reps with evacuation.
Giulio also joins the team to pursue Dark Might, saying he can provide the most insight on Anna's Quirk, and if Deku wants to see him smile, he'll have to be there when she's rescued. On the way, Tsukuyomi stays behind to fight some Gollini monsters, while Dynamight and Shoto are intercepted by Ugo and Gil, leaving Deku and Giulio to charge in against the last of Dark Might's forces, with Deku using Float and Blackwhip to carry Giulio on his motorcycle.
Battle#
The two of them land inside of a courtyard, where Dark Might is waiting with an entranced Anna, taunting them to follow him. Giulio rushes on on his motorcycle, despite Deku warning him not to, as Bruno walks in. Deku recognizes him from the start of the invasion, as Bruno activates Delay Spot, freezing Giulio from moving forwards.
Deku is able to avoid the range of his Quirk by jumping back in the trees behind him, while Bruno walks up to Giulio and pushes him so he can very slowly start to fall off his motorcycle. Deku runs back deeper in the courtyard, using Blackwhip as a lasso on the trees, to avoid more of Delay Spot's range.
As soon as Deku reaches a wall, he summons multiple Blackwhips to wrap around the trees ahead of him, pulling on them as he lands on the ground. He begins constantly stepping with his back leg to power up Fa Jin, and with a combination of it, Float, and Air Force, activates Faux 100 Percent to lunge forward with as much strength and speed as he can generate before getting trapped in Delay Spot.
Bruno thinks that it's no use, however, Deku bursts through the bubble at blistering speeds, fast enough to not be as effected by Delay Spot and launch himself into Bruno's gut, knocking him out into the nearby building and deactivating the Quirk. As a result, Giulio falls over and manages to recover himself after unfreezing, though his motorcycle crashes out.
Aftermath#
By the time the fight was over, Dark Might had made it farther into the fortress with Anna. After checking on Deku to make sure that he was okay, he and Giulio continued forward to rescue Anna.
