Faux 100 Percent is an Ultimate Move performed by Deku using the One For All, Blackwhip, and Fa Jin Quirks.
Description#
Deku initiates Faux 100 Percent with Blackwhip, pulling himself towards a certain direction.[1][2] He then draws out 45% of One For All's power, and additionally combines it with the stored kinetic energy generated by Fa Jin. By doing this, he is able to draw out the blinding speed of using One For All at 100%, without the recoil that comes with it.
Deku first uses this technique to shove Kai Chisaki away from a bullet fired by Lady Nagant.[1] He later uses this move during his skirmish with Class 1-A in an attempt to quickly escape the battlefield.[2]
During the Gollini Invasion, Deku used this technique against Bruno Gollini to bypass his Delay Spot Quirk, which creates a bubble that greatly slows down whomever is inside. Once activated, he catapults himself through the bubble with enough speed to directly knock Bruno out, defeating him. He also combines it with Float and Delaware Smash Air Force in this instance.[3]
Deku further uses it to catapult himself to Dark Might's position and deliver a flying kick attack on him. During their fight, he uses Faux 100 Percent to power up his Ultimate Moves: Detroit, Texas, Wyoming, Carolina, Missouri, California, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and finally, St. Louis Smash to defeat Dark Might.[3]
Deku later uses this move at the start of his fight with "Tomura Shigaraki", catapulting himself onto the battlefield.[4]
