Izuku Midoriya & Giulio Gandini vs. Ginji Kurau is a battle between Deku and the Jailbreaker Villain, Ginji, who has kidnapped Anna Scervino. Giulio Gandini and Bruno Gollini also take part in the fight.[1]
Prologue#
While on the hunt for more Jailbreaker Villains, Class A gets notified of a villain attacking the west harbor, that is believed to be Ginji. All three begin making their way over, with Class A Team 1 being the closest ones to the scene. Unbeknownst to the Heroes, Ginji has a hostage in Anna Scervino, who he had deceived in saying he'd help her escape, but it was really just a way to get her power to himself.
Battle#
Ginji continues causing havoc and make his escape in the west harbor, but Class A Team 1 is able to cut off his initial escape route. Ginji recognizes the truck as a U.A. truck, and uses his newly amplified Mad Gluttony quirk to escape to change course through a building, making his way towards a shelter. Deku uses Float and Air Force to try to hit him off.
Ginji continues to run away, but Deku manages to get right above him. The U.A. student notices that Ginji looks different than he did in the file photo, and also sees that he has Anna as a hostage and tries to get in closer.
Ginji uses his new appendages to try to throw debris at Deku, but the hero is able to dodge the attacks with ease. Deku comes in closer and tries to take Anna's hand, but when he did, her Overmodification quirk activated, causing flowers to appear, but Deku was incompatible with them, causing him to feel a stabbing pain that stopped his pursuit and fall on the ground. Ginji continued running towards the shelter, and despite the pain Deku was in, he continued his way on foot.
Civilians were able to see that a villain was making their way towards them and tried hiding in the mall as a shelter, but Ginji was able to break through the glass windows and doors. Some civilians tried shooting him down, but Ginji was able to block their attacks with his extra appendages, knock down their barricade. He then used the mouth in his stomach to take their weapons, and with a single chomp crushed them, causing fire to spread throughout the shelter. Ginji attempted to take another hostage, but Deku was able to show up and stop him with Blackwhip.
Deku tries to use more Blackwhips to apprehend him, but he was too strong to do so. Deku urged the civilians around him to escape while they could, as Ginji used more of Anna's power to get more powerful, sprouting two extra limbs and becoming strong enough to throw Deku through the building. Deku still tried holding the villain with Blackwhip, but just when it seemed the powered-up villain was going to attack, the fight was interrupted by a sniper rifle that Ginji was barely able to dodge.
The hero and villain both looked up to see that the shot came from Giulio Gandini up on a destroyed road. Giulio continues firing, which Deku realizes could hit the hostage. He lets go of Ginji to try to protect her, as Ginji blocks more of Giulio's shots, but he manages to graze the arm that was holding Anna, causing the villain to drop her as Giulio begins making his way closer on his motorcycle. Anna sees that Giulio is making his way closer, as he prepares to take a shot through his cybernetic arm. Anna closes her eyes for what's to come as he takes the shot. Deku tries to stop the bullet but knows he won't be able to make it, however a bubble appears around Anna that causes time around her to slow down. Bruno makes his appearance known as Ginji gets ready to charge at him, but Bruno extends the reach of his Delay Spot to slow time around him as well.
Giulio continues firing more bullets at Anna that stop as soon as they hit the bubble, but Deku uses Blackwhip to stop him from shooting more. Giulio takes out a revolver and aims it at Deku, however Danger Sense doesn't seem to activate when he does. Bruno is able to walk inside his Delay Spot and as soon as he touches Anna is able to boost his power and carry Anna while Delay spot is able to move with them. Ginji unfreezes, but is hit by some of Giulio's bullets.
Aftermath#
The rest of Class A Team 1 is able to show up while Deku keeps hold of Giulio. As they make their way to help, a giant flying ship makes its way towards the harbor, carrying the rest of the Gollini Family. At the top of the ship, Dark Might makes his presence known, and tells everyone below that it's okay now and that hope has arrived "Because I am here."
The U.A. students are baffled at how the man looks exactly like All Might, while Deku's Danger Sense started going crazy as soon as he showed up. Bruno deactivates Delay Spot, to which Anna immediately tries to escape from his grasp, but Deborah uses Day Dream to put the girl in a trance. Dark Might tells her he won't let her escape again as she and Bruno are brought back onto the ship by Kamile.
Giulio tries to make his way towards them, but Deku stops him with Black Whip. Cellophane asks what happened to Ginji, and Uravity sees that he's getting away, destroying the highway supports causing debris and a building to fall on the civilians to try and distract the heroes. Deku lets go of Giulio as he and the rest of his team prioritize saving civilians. Guilio tries to chase after the Gollini Family, but is stopped by Bruno's Delay Spot and Ugo's Telekinesis, causing another building to start falling. Before Ginji can get any farther, he is stopped by Dark Might.
