Sky Egg Arc#
Ragdoll and the rest of the Wild, Wild Pussycats are invited and accepted an invitation to Captain Celebrity's farewell party at the Tokyo Sky Egg.[1] Once there, they perform a choreography.[2] The Tokyo Sky Egg is attacked by Bombers, sent there by villain Number 6 to assassinate Captain Celebrity.[3]
The Pussycats remain to help and calm among the spectators while other heroes come out to face the creatures,[4] until they are defeated and Number 6 is forced to retreat.[5][6]
Synopsis#
Forest Training Camp Arc#
Students from U.A. High School travel to the Pussycats reserve to train over the summer. Ragdoll and the Wild, Wild Pussycats introduce themselves to Class 1-B on the second day of camp. Ragdoll explains that her Quirk allows her to read everyone's location and stats simultaneously, allowing her to keep an eye on all forty students from both classes. She reassures Class 1-B that the team is perfectly capable of watching everyone.
That evening, Ragdoll and Pixie-Bob hand out ingredients for the students to cook curry for dinner. Even though the students are tired from a long day of training, Ragdoll reminds them still to put in the effort in making delicious food.[7]
The next day, Ragdoll and the Pussycats tell the students they will participate in a test of courage that night. When that time comes, Ragdoll and the team explain the rules. Class 1-B will populate the forest and try to scare Class 1-A as they pass through it.[8] During the Vanguard Action Squad's attack on the training camp, the Nomu attacks Ragdoll and wanders around clutching her headphones. After the attack, it is reported that Ragdoll has disappeared without a trace.[9]
Before the Pro Heroes and the Police Force invade the League of Villains' hideouts, Tiger reveals that Ragdoll was also kidnapped during the Vanguard Action Squad's raid on the training camp and he was going to rescue her.[10]
Hideout Raid Arc#
Ragdoll was taken to the League of Villains' warehouse after being kidnapped. At the League of Villains' warehouse, Ragdoll is rescued by Tiger after he, Best Jeanist, and Mt. Lady infiltrate the warehouse.[11] She is, however, completely unresponsive, which worries her partner. Moments later, All For One appears, revealing that he has taken her Quirk for himself, which caused her to enter a comatose state, having wanted it for a while and using the attack on camp as the perfect opportunity to get it. The villain then destroys the building, blasting away the heroes.[12] Tiger manages to keep hold of Ragdoll, protecting her.[13]
As All Might fights All For One, Tiger holds onto Ragdoll while rescuing the woman All Might protected from All For One's attack.[14]
After the battle, Tiger returns home with Ragdoll. When Ragdoll regains consciousness, her teammates comfort her as she cries over her stolen Quirk and the end of her career as a hero.[15]
Pro Hero Arc#
The Pussycats visit U.A. and Ragdoll accompanies them to the dorms where she excitedly takes part in the introduction with her teammates. When asked by Izuku Midoriya if she is returning to hero work, she replies that she has decided to happily support her team from their agency as an office lady of sorts. The Pussycats explain that her Quirk might not return after receiving a message from Tartarus in which they are told that All For One cannot transfer the Quirk he stole back to its original user.
Momo wonders why the Pussycats would rejoin at this time; they state that the Hero Billboard Chart JP will be broadcasted and that they are ranked 411th on the Billboard Chart. Eijiro assumes that the Pussycats have returned so that they can rank higher, to which Ragdoll refutes and replies that they have returned due to their high approval ratings meaning that there are many fans who want to see them back in action.[16]
Paranormal Liberation War Arc#
Next year, by the end of March, thanks to the police investigations, and the information leaked by Hawks, who was acting as a spy, the Hero Public Safety Commission organize the Heroes and the Police Force to take down the Paranormal Liberation Front.[17][18]
While the other three members of the Wild, Wild, Pussycats participate in the operation, Tomoko stays in their Hero Office, where she grumbles about the fact that she no longer has her Search Quirk, and therefore there is nothing she can do to help her teammates. She is completely unaware that her Quirk is now in possession of Tomura Shigaraki.[19]
Dark Hero Arc#
In the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, All For One has escaped from Tartarus, and proceeded to break into several more maximum security prisons, liberating the inmates. Due to the chaos inflicted by Gigantomachia and the mass breakout of prisoners, the whole country entered a state of total chaos and anarchy. In addition, many heroes resigned and called it quits because of the massive criticism of their work, and the destruction spreading unchecked.
To protect the civilians from the state of the world, U.A. is transformed into a maximum-security facility where many are taken as refugees. Tomoko is one of the people within, watching over Kota. When Izuku is escorted back to the school for rest by his classmates, he is met by an angry mob protesting his entry, fearing his presence will put them in danger. Tomoko and Kota are among the crowd, anxiously looking on at the increasingly riled up group while holding onto Kota.[20] Eventually Ochaco Uraraka gives a speech to the crowd pleading them to let Izuku stay, which causes Kota to run out of Tomoko's arms to cheer up the crying Izuku.[21] Realizing his state, the civilians let him stay and he is escorted inside.[22]
U.A. Traitor Arc#
After Izuku recovers, the Heroes plan for their Final War against All For One and rest of the Villains. After Yuga Aoyama is discovered to be an unwilling undercover agent for All For One, they decide to take advantage of this to try and draw All For One out of hiding. While the rest of the active Heroes continue their duty of cleaning up the streets, a "Counter-Force" team is formed by All Might to discuss the intricacies of their plan.
They meet at Central Hospital and consists of Hawks, Naomasa Tsukauchi and the Police Force, Ethan Drive and the American military, and Tomoko. Because of Tomura and All For One's use of the Search Quirk, Tomoko is brought forth due to her extensive knowledge of the Quirk she previously had. She states that even though she wishes the rest of her team could've been involved, due to her former Quirk being used for evil, she wants to do whatever she can to help everyone. She proceeds to listen in and assist on their discussion to split the villains up. She later accompanies Hawks in explaining the plan to Endeavor and Best Jeanist.[23]
Epilogue Arc#
After the Final War, Tomoko and Shino wave goodbye to Kota and Eri as they leave for school.[24]
