History#

At some point, Snipe participated in a television show about heroes to watch and said that if it wasn't for Lady Nagant, he would be Japan's top marksman. He explained how his Quirk, Homing, lets him shoot anything within six hundred meters, but with Lady Nagant and her Rifle Quirk, she easily surpasses him, having a range of three kilometers and the ability to mold her hair in any kind of bullet, plus being naturally skillful at shooting. He admitted that there was no way he could compete against her.

Snipe did not hesitate to define Lady Nagant as sniper rifle in human form.[1]

Final Exams Arc#

Prior to Final Exams at the end of the first years' first term, Snipe has another meeting with his fellow faculty members. This time they meet to discuss changing the Final Exams format. Snipe states that having students fight robots is impractical if fights against villains are going to intensify in the wake of Stain. He goes on to say that robots were originally used for the entrance exams to avoid complaints about injuries, but notes they are not challenging enough.

The students are put into pairs to face off with the students for the Final Exams, and Snipe faces off against Mezo Shoji and Toru Hagakure.[15] During their battle, Snipe corners Toru and Mezo behind stone pillars. Mezo runs out to distract Snipe, and the teacher shoots at his feet before warning him not to be hasty.

During the School Festival, Snipe contacts Hound Dog, who was out on patrol, for a status update. Hound Dog replies that some troublesome video up-loader was hoping to snag some spotlight, and while not understanding the situation entirely, it is not an emergency.[19] He is later shown enjoying the festivities.[20]

Endeavor Agency Arc#

On Christmas, Snipe and the rest of the U.A. teachers hold a meeting to discuss the sudden return of the Hero Work-Studies. Everyone agrees that the Hero Public Safety Commission has doubts about the incident at Deika City, and want all heroes to be ready for what can happen, although they try to be ambiguous with their requests.[21]

Paranormal Liberation War Arc#

By the end of March, thanks to the police investigations, and the information leaked by Hawks, who was acting as a spy, the Hero Public Safety Commission organize the Heroes and the Police Force to take down the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Before the raid starts, Snipe participates with other heroes in a meeting where Detective Naomasa informs them about Dr. Kyudai Garaki, the current board chairman of Jaku General Hospital. He is an ally of All For One, and therefore Tomura's ally, and he is also the creator of the Nomu.[22][23]

U.A. Traitor Arc#

In the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, All For One has escaped from Tartarus, and proceeded to break into several more maximum security prisons, liberating the inmates. Due to the chaos inflicted by Gigantomachia and the mass breakout of prisoners, the whole country entered a state of total chaos and anarchy. In addition, many heroes resigned and called it quits because of the massive criticism of their work, and the destruction spreading unchecked. Snipe was one of the Heroes still remaining after the chaos, staying at U.A to watch the evacuates.

When Nezu announces to the civilians that Tomura will make his big move in 4 days, Class 1-A is ready to head back out. Snipe assures to the civilians that their safety is their top priority, and when the automated evacuation system kicks in, he tells them to move calmly. Shortly afterward, he watches 1-A leave U.A. for good.[24]

My Hero Academia: You're Next#

During Class 1-A's excursions to combat and apprehend the Jailbreakers and villains running amok, they are suddenly captured by the Gollini Family Mafia, consisting of Bruno, Kamile, Deborah, Paulo, Simon, Ugo, Gi, and their leader, Valdo Gollini. Snipe was at the U.A. headquarters when Valdo publicly broadcast his announcement to the country that he has come to "save Japan" from their despair caused by the war and vows that he will use his strength and power to promote justice and become the next Symbol of Peace in honor of All Might’s god-like powers.

Valdo touches the hypnotized woman, Anna Scervino, and suddenly, his powers tremendously increase as he uses his Quirk to transform their floating ship into a massive fortress, consuming everything in its path in an ocean of light. Class 1-A witness the rapid expansion of the transformation just before they are consumed by it.

All Might hurries back to U.A. to learn of the situation, seeing that the ship has consumed the class and any civilian evacuees caught by the light. He meets Hawks and Best Jeanist, and they identify the group as the Gollini Family Mafia, the most dangerous crime syndicate in Europe that even other Heroes outside the country were cautious to approach.

While keeping track of the fortress’ movement, Dark Might decides to change course because so long as people remember All Might’s legacy, he will continue to inspire the next generation. He decides to destroy that legacy by annihilating the remnants of the Heroes in U.A. Toshinori and the Counter-Force notice the fortress' change in direction, and realize it is heading right towards the school. Principal Nezu states that the U.A. Barrier is essential for their plan to defeat Tomura Shigaraki and must be protected at all costs. Hence, he ordered the evacuation of the refugees.

Snipe and several faculty members stay behind while All Might and the Heroes head to the outskirts of the city to stage a counterattack against the fortress. Endeavor fires a full blast of his Prominence Burn, but the Heroes learn that the fortress repairs itself from any external damages they inflict, which means they can only stall time for Class 1-A to do their jobs.

Mirio, who quickly infiltrated the fortress with his Permeation, helps direct everyone toward the exit. He signals the Heroes outside of the civilians' location, so Endeavor unleashes Prominence Burn - Maximum Fire and Flare Circle to make a hole large enough for civilians to fall through, with all the Heroes waiting outside to catch and bring them to safety. Best Jeanist uses his Quirk to capture the civilians falling from the fortress.

Once the civilians are safe, Endeavor makes a hole large enough for many Heroes to move inside. As the fortress comes closer to U.A., it starts to collapse after Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto defeat Dark Might; in conjunction, Mirio defeats Kamile, causing the fortress to fall from the sky.

Suddenly, the fortress starts to repair itself as Anna’s Quirk: Overmodification, goes berserk, causing her to consume everything in the battlefield, including Dark Might. Still affected by Anna's Overmodification, Dark Might regains consciousness and uses her enhanced properties to turn himself into a colossal monster, using the fortress to repair a new body. While Izuku, Shoto and Katsuki fight back against Dark Might, Giulio manages to touch her, and thanks to Anna's Overmodification, his own Neutralization Quirk becomes greatly enhanced, allowing him to overcome his limits and then use it on Anna. With Dark Might vulnerable, Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto, attack the Villain and unleash their most powerful moves, destroying Dark Might and the entire fortress.

With the Gollini Family defeated, the U.A. Shelter is safe, and everyone cheers on the Heroes and Class 1-A for their valiant victory.[25]

Final War Arc#

With the number of Heroes rapidly dwindling, those that remain and the Counter Force have come up with a plan to defeat All For One and his army of villains for an all-out-battle of the Final War. Shota then calls out to the Heroes through their comms, telling them to help Izuku carve a straight path to Tomura. Snipe shoots at dozens of "All For One"'s Rivet Stabs, aiding Manga Fukidashi to push back against these attacks.[27] Eventually, Izuku manages to defeat Tomura once and for all, just before Tomura succumbs to his injuries and dies as his body disintegrates into ashes.[28]
