Recovery Girl treated and healed the injuries All Might had sustained after his fight against All For One. She was also present when All Might dissolved his partnership with Sir Nighteye due to their differing opinions.[1]

Synopsis#

Entrance Exam Arc#

When the U.A. Entrance Exam ends, Recovery Girl arrives to heal those who have been injured, distributing sweets among the participants.

She walks up to Izuku Midoriya and kisses him in order to her Heal Quirk to enhances the Izuku's natural healing process and heal his injuries. She notices that Izuku's Quirk and body aren't synced up properly. After healing him, she asks if there are any other injured students.[2]

Quirk Apprehension Test Arc#

Izuku goes to her again to get healed. She mentions that her Quirk only magnifies his body's regenerative process and that he needs to use some of his own strength for the healing process as well. She tells him that if he keeps getting injured so often, and uses too much of his energy for the healing process, he will end up dead eventually, much to Izuku's shock.[3]

Battle Trial Arc#

When Izuku faints, a stretcher takes him to Recovery Girl's Office to get healed. All Might walks into the room for Izuku, when Recovery Girl starts to yell at him about Izuku's injuries. She had to hook him up with an IV drip and wrap his injuries because he didn't have the strength to endure Recovery Girl's Quirk. It is then revealed that Recovery Girl is one of All Might's personal friends that know about his condition and the One For All Quirk.[4]

U.S.J. Arc#

U.A. is stormed by reporters looking for information about All Might's teaching position. After the Police Force escorts the media off the property, Recovery Girl and the others on the U.A. staff investigate the breach in the security barrier.[5]

After the U.S.J attack. Recovery Girl treats All Might's and Izuku's wounds. She admits that because of the situation she cannot condemn their self-sacrificing actions.[6]

U.A. Sports Festival Arc#

After Izuku defeats Hitoshi in the first round of the tournament event, he goes to the infirmary where Recovery Girl heals his injuries. After healing Izuku, she scolds All Might for putting unnecessary pressure on Izuku and hits him. After Izuku leaves, she comments to All Might that Izuku saw him in his vision as well. All Might replies that it is a good thing.[7]

After Izuku is defeated by Shoto Todoroki, Izuku is taken to Recovery Girl. She scolds All Might for making Izuku push his limits and tells All Might not to try and praise Izuku for going so far. When Izuku's friends arrive, she makes them leave, telling them that Izuku has to undergo surgery, much to their shock.[8]

Recovery Girl performs surgery on Izuku and manages to heal his grievous wounds enough for him to walk. After the surgery is completed, she warns Izuku to not abuse his power and that she won't heal any self-inflicted serious injuries for him again. She tells All Might to search for a different method that Izuku can go through to use One For All without any harmful side effects.[9]

Final Exams Arc#

Recovery Girl overlooks Class 1-A's practical exam in the monitoring room. She comments that chemistry between Heroes is a vital skill; that being able to complement someone else's Quirk is a superior skill.

After Izuku and Katsuki Bakugo pass the practical exam, All Might carries them to Recovery Girl's tent to be healed. Recovery Girl scolds All Might for not restraining himself during his battle with Izuku and Katsuki.[10] Recovery Girl asks All Might to take the two students back to U.A. to recover. However, a conscious and healed Izuku requests to stay and watch the remaining fights, as he would like to observe and analyze the other Pro Heroes and his classmates. Recovery Girl allows Izuku to watch the remaining fights.[11]

Izuku and Recovery Girl watch the remaining fights. Recovery Girl comments on Fumikage Tokoyami and notes that he has brittle defense and struggles against numerable opponents, which causes him to become pressured; she also analyzes that Tsuyu Asui is a person who is usually calm while under pressure in combat and can help Fumikage deal with his pressure, allowing Fumikage to help her with his full strength, to which Izuku agrees with Recovery Girl's assessment.[12] During Denki Kaminari and Mina Ashido's exam battle, Recovery Girl comments that Nezu was abused and mistreated by humans in the past. As a result, whenever he is in battle, his true character shows. Izuku and Recovery Girl watch the battle between Kyoka Jiro and Koji Koda against Present Mic; Izuku notes that the challenge revolves around sound and how they will be able to beat a Quirk that cancels it out. After Koji and Kyoka pass the practical exam, Izuku is glad to see that his classmates are passing one by one, but Recovery Girl points out that Minoru Mineta is running away, which surprises and intrigues Izuku.[13]

Recovery Girl and Izuku continue watching the practical test, focusing on Minoru and Hanta Sero versus Midnight. Recovery Girl notes that Minoru does not have a specific goal and that that will cause him to struggle in U.A.; the school is constantly creating bigger obstacles for their students to overcome, and to help them with that, they must conform to a very strong goal in mind, saying that "I guess I wanna be a hero" won't cut it. After Minoru reveals and executes his plan against Midnight, Recovery Girl and Izuku praise Minoru for his strategy, with Recovery Girl thinking that becoming a cool hero is not such a bad goal after all.[14]

Forest Training Camp Arc#

While Izuku was unconscious and hospitalized after the Vanguard Action Squad Invasion, Recovery Girl aided him as best she could.[15]

Shie Hassaikai Arc#

After the Shie Hassaikai Raid ended and Eri is saved, Recovery Girl visits the hospital to heal some of the injured Pro Heroes & other patients. However, when she goes to treat Sir Nighteye, she discovers that it is too late for him. His injuries are so serious that even if she uses her Quirk it cannot save his life. Much to her regret, Recovery Girl communicates to Sir Nighteye's companions and friends that he will likely die before the next day comes. As she predicted, Sir Nighteye passed away shortly after saying goodbye to everyone.[16]

The next morning, while she, Izuku and Shota are in the hospital waiting room, they watch on television the news that the League of Villains had attacked the escort carrying Kai Chisaki and stole an important piece of evidence.[17]

Pro Hero Arc#

Recovery Girl is briefly seen healing Endeavor in the hospital after his fight against the High-End. By doing this, she is able to save his damaged eye, as a favor for him being a U.A. alumnus.[18]

Joint Training Arc#

After the third round of the Joint Training exercise between Class 1-A and 1-B ends, Recovery Girl treats Mashirao Ojiro, Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Ida, Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, and Juzo Honenuki in her office.[19]

My Hero Academia: Heroes: Rising#

In the aftermath of Nine's invasion on Nabu Island, Recovery Girl is one of the many heroes sent to provide humanitarian aid to Class 1-A and the residents. Recovery Girl heals Katsuki Bakugo, who suffered amnesia and whose arms were severely bruised.[20]

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission#

During her time in U.A, a terrorist group called Humarise has detonated a bomb filled with chemically enhanced Trigger and the World Heroes Association deployed an international joint-task force made up of the top Heroes from all over the globe to counter the threat. Once the villain organization has been defeated, Recovery Girl heads to Otheon to help heal the recovering Izuku, Shoto, Katsuki, and Rody Soul.[21]

Paranormal Liberation War Arc#

Days after the end of the Paranormal Liberation War, Recovery Girl visited Central Hospital and healed Izuku.[22]

U.A. Traitor Arc#

In the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, All For One has escaped from Tartarus, and proceeded to break into several more maximum security prisons, liberating the inmates. Due to the chaos inflicted by Gigantomachia and the mass breakout of prisoners, the whole country entered a state of total chaos and anarchy. In addition, many heroes resigned and called it quits because of the massive criticism of their work, and the destruction spreading unchecked. Recovery Girl and the other remaining U.A. teachers are stationed at the newly fortified U.A. High, acting as a safe base for evacuees.

After all the preparations for their Final War against the Villains, Nezu announces to the civilians that Tomura will make his big move in 4 days, with Class 1-A giving their thanks to everyone at the entrance, with them all ready to head back out. Recovery Girl is seen saying her goodbyes to the students, showing that she has gotten considerably weaker on account of overusing her Quirk to help the injured after the War.[23]

Final War Arc#

While the Heroes fight off against All For One and his army of villains, Recovery Girl stays behind at one of the U.A. evacuation centers to care for the injured. Eventually, the Heroes managed to stand triumph over the villains and win the war.[24]

One week after the end of the Final War, restoration efforts that were stalled after the Jaku Hospital Raid have picked back up at a breakneck pace as Heroes from America and all around the world arrived to provide support and resources in rescue and rebuilding. Recovery Girls returns to U.A. following the end of the war.[25]

Months later, Gran Torino was being visited by All Might, and he was relieved that he's alive and well while Recovery Girl assists Gran Torino.[26]
