History#

Simon Gollini was a member of the Gollini Family, one of the most dangerous crime syndicates in Europe. The organization was led by Valdo Gollini, who held great admiration, and even obsession, for All Might, to the point of using his Alchemy Quirk on himmself to physically resemble him.

After the final battle between All Might and All For One at Kamino in Japan, which ended with All Might losing his Quirk and not being able to be a hero again. Valdo leads his syndicate to new heights and himself declares that he will take his place and become All Might's successor.

To achieve this goal, Valdo led an assault on the Scervino household, killing most of the occupants and kidnapping Anna Scervino, whose Quirk, Overmodification, could greatly enhance another person's Quirk, though only a few were compatible. Simon was one of those few compatible individuals, along with seven other associates: Deborah, Paulo, Bruno, Kamile, Ugo y Gil and Valdo Gollini himself.

With Anna in their possession, the Gollini Family traveled to Japan on a luxurious yacht. The country was going through a deep crisis following the catastrophic outcome of the Paranormal Liberation War, which left much of the country in ruins, numerous villains escaped from prison and wreaking havoc throughout the nation, and a deep distrust of the population towards the heroes, despite the latter's efforts to fix the situation.[1]

Synopsis#

Shortly after arriving in the country, the Gollini allid themselves with Ginji Kurau, a villain who escaped from the Tartarus prison. However, Ginji discovered Anna's power and made a pact with her. In exchange for making his Quirk Mad Gluttony more powerful, he would help her escape from the Gollini Family's custody. She accepted, and Ginji managed to blindsiding her captors and managed to escape with her.

After getting out however, Ginji go back on his word and chose to go on a rampage, believing that he would be unstoppable with Anna's Quirk. Upon learning of his betrayal, the Gollini Family immediately goes after them to get Anna back, although they are not the only ones on her trail. Giulio Gandini, a butler who worked at the Scervino household and is a close friend of Anna, survived the Gollini assault on the mansion, and has been on Anna's trail ever since, albeit with other intentions.

Class 1-A from the U.A. High Heroes Course is notified on Ginji's rampage and are dispatched to capture him. Class A Team 3, led by Izuku Midoriya, crosses Ginji's path while he was escaping with Anna, triggering a battle that ends when Giulio appears and tries to kill Anna, although his shots are avoided by Bruno, who retrieves Anna just as the rest of the Gollini Family arrive in their private yacht.

With Anna back in their hands, Valdo reveals he has the appearance of prime All Might, shocking everyone. After dispatching Ginji for his betrayal and proclaiming to everyone present his intentions to be the new symbol of peace, Valdo touches Anna, allowing his Alchemy Quirk to become immensely enhanced, and their floating yachi transforms into a massive fortress, consuming everything in its path in an ocean of light. Soon, the rest of Class 1-A were caught by the light and are consumed inside of the fortress.

With the massive fortress now complete, Valdo conjures a majestic palace for him and the Gollini Family, with Anna in his possession. He instructs each of the family to have their Quirks enhanced through Anna, and with each family empowered, they can now begin their next phase. Through screens, the Gollinis see that the different U.A. teams have ended up in different sections of the fortress, and they organize to take them on.

Dark Might confronts Class A Team 2, consisting of Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, Mina Ashido, Fumikage Tokoyami, Rikido Sato, and Koji Koda. Inside a castle in the amusement park area, Dark Might offers them to join him on his quest to become the new Symbol of Peace, but they refuse. Outraged, Dark Might sends them to an underground dungeon, where Simon is waiting for them.

Dressed as a wizard, Simon monitors the entire dungeon from a control room, and uses his Monster Summon Quirk to conjure multiple monsters which he sends against the students, forcing them to fight their way out. From the room, he watches with interest the fight between his creatures and the U.A. students, eager to see how many would manage to survive.

Simon keeps monitoring, but after a while, he finds none of the students, so he assumes they all perished and grumbles that he lost his chance to show off his costume. Suddenly, he is caught off-guard by a explosion from behind, and turns around, shocked that Katsuki and his team manage to find him by brute forcing their way through. Simon berates them, outraged by breaking his rules of the game, but Katsuki silences him by pulling the pin on his Grenadier Bracers, unleashing a large explosion at point-blank range, saying that they simply used a secret trick. After being defeated, Dark Might promptly drops Simon into a pit as well seemingly to his death as punishment for failing him.[1]
