Trivia#

  • This is the first video game based on My Hero Academia to feature an English dub.
  • Some of the characters' Quirks are visualized differently than in the original series.
  • Mina's Acid is a light pink color, similar to her skin, instead of gray and purple like in the anime and manga respectively. It retains its anime coloring in her character art.
  • Shota's Erasure is presented with red eye symbols that appear above him, causing red particles to float around opponents and preventing them from using their second Quirk attack until the effect wears off, limiting their Quirks as opposed to negating them.
  • Strangely, this also prevents Stain and Mei Hatsume from using their second attacks, despite these two not using their Quirks for combat and relying on blades and support items respectively.
  • Mirio's Permeation is presented with a blue glow that surrounds him whenever his Quirk is active.
  • Nejire's Wave Motion is blue and green, as opposed to yellow like in the anime and manga. It retains its original color in her character art.
  • Sir Nighteye's Foresight is presented with a purple hologram of the opponent which predicts their following moves.
  • Tomura's Decay is depicted with a purple and black destructive energy.
  • Himiko's Transform covers her with a pink aura, unlike the gray slime in the anime and manga.
  • Hitoshi's Brainwashing is presented as a soundwave dome that surrounds him. Instead of verbally responding to him, opponents are affected by his Quirk should they try to attack him while inside the dome.
  • Midnight's costume is censored in both the Western and Japanese releases, with her chest being covered up by her leotard.
  • In addition, her character art has her wearing formal wear rather than her usual hero costume. This outfit is a callback to Episode 58.
  • In the game's story mode, the Villain Bots used at U.A. High School are replaced by the U.S.J. Nomu, which are described as "Faux Villains".
  • Upon beating the U.S.J. Nomu's Arcade Mode, the player receives character art of Izuku wearing his U.A. school uniform instead. Moreover, due to the Nomu being unable to speak, he is the only character that won't quote "Plus Ultra" after clearing a route.
