Great Glacial Aegir is an Ultimate Move performed by Shoto using the Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk and the Flashfire Fist: Phosphor technique.
Description#
Shoto, while rushing his opponent, builds up Phosphor's cold flames in his right hand before punching his target and unleashing a massive dome-shaped wave of cold fire, able to cover a tremendous section of the surrounding terrain completely in ice.
It has also been shown to be used like an explosion, as it spread around Gunga Forest to stop a powerful inferno. When used this way the dome-shaped wave of cold fire is frosted over before exploding into embers and flurries of snow.
Shoto first uses this move against Dabi during the Final War. This move's power was enough to completely extinguish Dabi's inferno he made with his Blueflame Quirk, and to temporarily incapacitate the Villain.[1]
It was used a second time at a more powerful level to dissipate Dabi's near-explosion, though Shoto admits that he may not have been able to stop it had it not been for his mother and two siblings trying to cool down Dabi with their Frost Quirks at the same time.[2]
