Trapezius Headgear

ArticleSource revision

Trapezius Headgear is a C-rank villain.[2][3]

He is a minor antagonist in the U.S.J. Arc and Final War Arc.

Appearance#

Trapezius is an enormous, muscular, pink-skinned humanoid Villain with an unusual extension from his shoulders that grows up and over his head, which gives it a hood-like appearance. His face is largely concealed within this hood, only showing round, white eyes and a large mouth.

He wears an armored half-vest with a chain over his right shoulder and cargo pants with additional plating. In the Final War, Trapezius is wearing a pair of overalls and boots.

Personality#

Trapezius is cruel and cowardly, taking a family hostage and threatening to harm them if anyone gave chase to him. He is quick to mock his foes with his speed, and brag about the apparent ease of his revealed plans.[2]

Synopsis#

U.S.J. Arc#

Trapezius Headgear is seen terrorizing a town and holding hostages while Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods are having trouble dealing with him. While he's bragging about his strength, All Might shows up from behind and uses Missouri Smash to beat him quickly and save the hostages.[2]

Final War Arc#

Trapezius Headgear ends up being freed from prison after All For One's escape from Tartarus, as a result of his subsequent assault on several other prisons across the country. He is then later summoned by All For One alongside other Villains and members of the Paranormal Liberation Front to fight in the Final War against the Heroes.[4] However, due to Operation Troy, the Villains would be scattered across various battlefields, with Trapezius sent to the Gunga Mountain Villa location to fight against the Heroes there.[5] By the war's conclusion, he would be arrested again.

Abilities#

Overall Abilities: Trapezius Headgear is assumed to be fairly powerful as both Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods struggled against him, even when he is holding hostages.[2]

Quirk#

Trap Flex: Trapezius Headgear's Quirk allows him to flex his trapezius to absurd degrees, giving him a fair amount of strength and speed, and also causing the shoulder extension on his head. However, the strength boost is far below that of One For All's, as All Might defeats him with a single blow to the back of the head.[2]
