At some point in his life, Bruno joined the Gollini family, a mafia family that is the largest known crime organization in Europe. The organization was controlled by Valdo Gollini, who was obsessed with All Might, to the point to use his own Alchemy Quirk on himself to physically resemble him.
After the real All Might lost his powers and retired as a hero after his final battle against All For One, Valdo decides to declare himself his successor as the new symbol of peace, leading the family to new heights.
To achieve this goal, they attacked Scervino household, killing almost everyone there and kidnapping Anna Scervino. The reason for this is that Anna's Quirk, Overmodification, has the ability to greatly enhance another person's Quirk as long as it is compatible, with anyone else being hit with a negative reaction upon touching Anna. As a result, the family of thousands was culled down to only eight main individuals. Bruno was one of those few compatible individuals, along with seven other associates: Deborah, Paulo, simon, Kamile, Ugo y Gil and Valdo Gollini himself.
With Anna in their possession, the Gollini Family traveled to Japan, the home country of All Might. The nation has entered a chaotic state of unrest as the result of the Paranormal Liberation War, between the destruction caused by the War, the many Villains that have broken out of prisons and been wreaking havoc on the streets, and the significant decrease in Heroes after many died or retired in the aftermath. With many civilians no longer trusting the authorities and Heroes, they have started to arm themselves with weapons and support items to defend themselves.[1]

Shortly after arriving in the country, the Gollini allied themselves with Ginji Kurau, a villain who escaped from the Tartarus prison, and who proved to be one of the few people compatible with Anna's Quirk. However, once Ginji found out Anna's Quirk, he wanted the power for himself, so he tricked her by promising to help her escape from the Golliny family in exchange for making his Quirk Mad Gluttony more powerful. She accepted, but once he took her off the yacht, Ginji go back on his word and chose to go on a rampage. After learning of the betrayal of his new ally, the Gollini Family immediately goes after them to get Anna back.
Bruno is the first to track down Anna. Due of the chaos he caused, Ginji attracts the attention of a [U.A. High School|U.A. High Heroes Course]] team tasked with capturing villains and restoring peace. The team is led by Izuku Midoriya, who confronts Ginji and tries to save Anna, but because of Overmodification, the villain becomes more powerful. In the middle of the fight, a third person intervenes, who was also on Anna's trail. This person is Giulio Gandini, a butler who worked at the Scervino household and is a close friend of Anna. He survived the Gollini assault on the mansion, and has been searching for Anna since then, although not with the goal of saving her but of killing her.
Giulio shoots Anna with his Arm Cannon, but before the bullet hits the girl, Bruno intervenes, using his Delay Spot to create a time bubble around Anna, causing the bullet to slow down enormously. Without understanding what is happening, Ginji tries to take Anna again, but as he enters the bubble, his movements abecome much slower. Giulio shoots Anna more times, but all the bullets lose speed once they enter the bubble. He tries to shoot more again, but Deku restrains him with Blackwhip
Bruno grabs Anna without being affected by his own bubble, and as soon as he touches her is able to boost his power and carry her while Delay spot is able to move with them. Ginji unfreezes, but is hit by some of Giulio's bullets. Izuku's teammates soon arrive at the scene, and after them the Gaollini family arrives on a flying yacht.
Anna tries to resist upon being taken onto the ship, but Deborah uses her Day Dream to subdue her. With Anna back in their hands, Valdo undoes his mask, revealing that he has the appearance of prime All Might, shocking everyone. During the confusion, Ginji takes the opportunity to escape, destroying buildings in his path, forcing the U.A. students to save civilians caught in the scene. Free from Izuku's restraints, Giulio tries to board the yacht while shooting at its occupants, buut Bruno creates a large bubble that slows him down, and Ugo uses his Telekinesis Quirk to throw debris towards him, hurdling him into a building.
After punishing Ginji for his betrayal, Valdo returns to the Yacht and proclaims himself All Might's successor as a symbol of peace before everyone present. This earns Izuku's rejection, who refuses to acknowledge him as such due to his violent methods. Indifferent to his words, Valdo touches Anna, allowing his uirk to become immensely enhanced, and their floating ship transforms into a massive fortress, consuming everything in its path in an ocean of light, including all Class 1-A students.
Once the fortress is complete, Valdo creates a palace for him and the Gollini Family, with Anna in his possession. After calling himself Dark Might, he conjures screens to observe all the people who have been absorbed. Bruno sees on one of the cameras that Giulio made it into the fortress so Paulo offers to eliminate him. Dark Might accepts and instructs each of the family to have their Quirks enhanced through Anna, and with each family empowered, they can now begin their next phase.
Bruno remains in the palace while several of his companions take care of Giulio and the U.A. students, however they manage to overcome them. After Paulo, Simon and Debora were defeated, Valdo concludes that Class 1-A is strong, and so long as Al Might lives, he will continue to inspire the citizens and Heroes in the country who will never adhere to him, so Dark Might has Kamile change course from gathering cities to the U.A. Shelter, where All Might and most of the Heroes and civilians are located, so he can destroy them all and become the only one standing in his ambitions of becoming the Symbol of Peace.
While most of the students are busy evacuating the kidnapped citizens, Izuku, Giulio, Katsuki, Shoto, and Fumikage head to the palace to defeat Dark Might and rescue Anna. Upon seeing them through the security cameras, Dark Might orders Bruno, Ugo, and Gil to dispose of them. Fumikage stays behind to face the Golems summoned by Dark Might all by hilself, and when they arrive the palace entrance, Katsuki and Shoto decide to confront Ugo and Ulli, while Izuku and Giulio successfully infiltrates the palace.
Once in the gardens, they see Dark Might is waiting with an entranced Anna, taunting them to follow him. Giulio rushes on his motorcycle to rescue her, but Bruno walks in and uses Delay Spot to freeze Giulio, while Izuku jumps back stays out of range. With the time bubble surrounding him, Bruno walks towards Izuku, pushing Giulio aside as he moves forward so he can very slowly crash, and taunts Izuku for retreating.
Izuku continues to keep his distance until he decides uses Fa Jin and Blackwhip to catapult himself through the bubble. Bruno dismisses it as futile, but then, to his horror, he notices that Izuku becomes so fast that he is able to get through the bubble at a decent speed, colliding with him and causing Bruno to crash into a wall, knocking him unconscious. He is last seen unconscious within the fortress, which later collapsed in the battle between the heroes and Dark Might, leaving his fate unknown.[1]
