Valdo Gollini vs. Ginji Kurau is a battle between Dark Might against Ginji Kurau.[1]
Prologue#
Before the events of the battle, Ginji had joined the Gollini Family and was able to break out Anna from their grasp, however this was in a selfish pursuit to keep her power for himself. Later, he was spotted by Deku of Class A who attempted to stop him, before Giulio and the Gollini Family were both able to find them.
Through the scuffle, Bruno was able to recapture Anna for the family's master plan, while Ginji attempted to flee. He tried to keep the heroes occupied by destroying nearby highway supports and buildings, forcing them to prioritize saving the civilians first. However before Ginji could go any further, Dark Might appeared before him.
Battle#
As soon as he spots Dark Might, Ginji charges at him in a fit of rage. Dark Might jumps down from the light post he was standing on, saying he thought Ginji was compatible with Anna's Quirk, but didn't expect him to betray the family, and that he'll have to teach the Villain a lesson. As Ginji attempts to attack him with his powered-up Mad Gluttony Quirk, Dark Might charges a glowing fist and launches it straight at Ginji, defeating him in a single blow.
Ginji is blown back to a bridge near the heroes and civilians, but the blow from Dark Might was so strong it causes even more smoke and debris to fly towards the scene of the crime. Ginji lands close to Deku, just as his flower wilts and he loses the boost in his power.
Aftermath#
Dark Might heads back to the heroes and confronts Deku, saying he looks like he wants to be a hero. He tries winning Deku over with chocolate; however Deku is mad at the damage he caused to the area. He claims that he is the next Symbol of Peace, which Deku can't comprehend.
He then begins using his Alchemy quirk to create and mic and several cameras to announce to all of Japan that he will be the new All Might and take his mantle, saying that it's his turn. Deku calls him out for the reckless way he endangered civilians, and that All Might would never act so carelessly.
Boosting his power with Anna's Quirk and dropping down several coins, he begins to transmutate the entire harbor into his ship, engulfing the civilians and U.A. Students. Shoto attempts to stop the light coming towards his time with walls of ice, but the light phases through the ice and engulf his team. Dynamight's team also tries to flee in their truck but aren't able to outrun it. Dark Might successfully creates an even bigger air ship, as the light from his quirk continues to spread.
