History#
Entrance Exam Arc#
The station was first seen being attacked by a Giant Villain. This event led to several heroes, such as Kamui Woods, Death Arms and Backdraft being summoned to the scene in order to capture the villain and minimize collateral damage.
Before Kamui Woods could manage to restrain the humongous villain with his ability, Mount Lady performed a surprise attack on the criminal, which caused part of the station to crumble down. The local police arrested the villain as Mt. Lady waved to the public.
A few hours later, the Sludge Villain Incident would occur. While returning home, Izuku Midoriya is attacked by the Sludge Villain, a criminal who was escaping from All Might. The villain tried to invade Izuku's body, but fortunately All Might appeared and defeated him, trapping him inside two empty soda bottles.
Izuku was extremely grateful that his idol saved his life and signed his notebook. However, between the excitement and having questions to ask him, Izuku grabbed All Might's leg just as the hero jumped away.[1] The hero was forced to land on a rooftop and tried to leave, but Izuku asked if someone Quirkless like him can become a hero.
Before answering, All Might's time in his muscle form came to an end and he reverted to his true, lanky form, shocking Izuku. Having discovered his secret, All Might opened up to him, explaining how dangerous hero work is. To emphasize his point, he showed him a wound on his torso he received five years earlier while fighting a dangerous villain, and since then he could only stay in his hero form for a short period of time.
All Might didn't want to dash Izuku's hopes, but advised him to be aware of his limitations, as he doesn't believe it would be possible to become a hero without a Quirk. As he left the rooftop, All Might realized that he didn't have the bottles where he had the Sludge Villain trapped, and that they must have accidentally fallen when Izuku grabbed his leg. Just then, he saw explosions in the distance.
It turns out the bottle containing the Sludge Villain fell into an alley in the Tatooin Shopping District. The Villain managed to escape from his confinement, and tried to take over the body of Katsuki Bakugo, a classmate of Izuku who has a powerful Explosion Quirk. Katsuki tries to fight back, but fails to get the villain off him, and the explosions draw the attention of nearby Pro Heroes, All Might, and Izuku Midoriya.
None of the heroes present were unable to help Katsuki because of the explosions, and All Might could not intervene either because his time limit to use his Quirk had run out. But Izuku, seeing Katsuki in danger, immediately ran towards him and tried to save him from the Sludge villain, who was preparing to blast him.
Inspired by Izuku's act of bravery despite being Quirkless, All Might chastised himself for his previous weakness of character as he assumes his heroic form once more and stepped in, easily defeating the Sludge Villain with a Detroit Smash and saving the two students.
Later on that same day, All Might met Izuku again., thanking him and telling Izuku that he was touched by his bravery for trying to save someone, despite not having a Quirk. That selfless action convinced him that Izuku had what it took to be a true hero, and he offered Izuku the chance to truly become one if he agreed to become his successor and the new heir to One For All. Izuku couldn't help but cry with happiness knowing that he could fulfill his dreams.[3]
Final War Arc#
After the Paranormal Liberation War and the escape of numerous villains from Tartarus and six other prisons, Hero Society collapsed, with numerous incidents occurring across the country in the following weeks. To protect the population and restore order, the heroes who continued to fight forced many citizens to take refuge in evacuation zones such as U.A. and Shiketsu High School.[4]
During the Final War, All Might stood in the way of All For One to prevent him from reuniting with "Tomura". Since he no longer possessed One For All, he had to use an advanced battle suit to confront his nemesis.[5] Despite causing him problems with his weapons and gadgets, All For One proved to be too powerful to him to handle, and in one of his attacks, he threw him far away, through several buildings until he crashed onto a rooftop in the ruins of Tatooin Station.
All Might then spoted the rooftop where first met Izuku, and recalled the moment when the boy asked him if he could be a hero without a Quirk, and later on rushed in to save Katsuki from the Sludge Villain. All Might weakly smiles and remembers that he was lot like Izuku when he was younger.
Despite his injuries, All Might was unwilling to give up, and while laughing louder and louder to mock his enemy, he prepared to continue fighting All For One.[2]
