Jet Burn, full name Flashfire Fist: Jet Burn is an Ultimate Move performed by Endeavor and Dabi using the Hellflame and Blueflame Quirks, respectively.[1]
Description#
The user concentrates their flames into a white-hot point on their fist and punches, sending a fiery beam into their target while knocking them back.
Endeavor first used this attack to burn through Hood, but the High-End quickly regenerated from the damage. He used this move again in an attempt to stop the League of Villains' transport, but it was cancelled out by Dabi's Blueflame blast.
Endeavor used this move a multitude of times during the Paranormal Liberation War when on the Hospital Raid Team to combat several Nomu during the Jaku Hospital Raid.
Dabi later used the move against his brother, Shoto Todoroki, during the Paranormal Liberation War. Unlike his father, Dabi only shot his fire by thrusting his arm forward toward his opponent, rather than a direct punching motion or making contact with his fist.[2] However, during the Final War, Dabi used it again against Shoto, this time in a punching form, similar to his father.[3]
Weaknesses#
Endeavor states that this move is usually reserved for finishing battles, as rampant use will raise his body heat too high.[4]
