Anime & Manga Differences#
- The anime shows the explosion from outside the building when Number 6 first unleashes his Bombified arm.
- The manga includes a scene where Koichi hears the building's explosion from the distance, asking Fat Gum about it. Monika then runs in to report "Toshinori's" disappearance, believing he was blown away by All Might's attack, only for him to secretly return back to Naomasa. In the anime, Koichi only hears the explosion alone.
- In the manga, Captain Celebrity is hospitalized in an unknown hospital; in the anime, it is specified that it is the Naruhata Disaster Medical Center.
- The New York college Makoto is going to is made to be a less obvious visual reference to Avengers Tower in the anime.
- The anime includes a moment of Captain Celebrity saying goodbye to everyone as he boards the plane right before Makoto does.
- The exchange between Naomasa and Eizo not referring to Number 6 as "non-human" is omitted from the anime.
- Koichi's narration foreshadowing his incoming conflict with Number 6 is not included in the anime.
- The anime explicitly states that two years have passed since the Sky Egg incident, while the manga simply says Koichi has been The Crawler for three years.
- Present Mic voices the narration when Koichi is battling the thugs in the anime.
- The anime removes Pop asking Koichi about if she should call anyone in regarding the thugs. It also omits them breaking out of the ties Koichi tries to put them in, and instead just has them brush off his Shooty-Go-Blam attack.
- In the manga, the remark on the thug's pay is by a random civilian, while in the anime Koichi and Pop think it.
- An original scene is added in the post-credits stinger, showing All For One and Doctor Garaki experimenting on Number 6 in the latter's Jaku Hospital lab.
