One day, in Naruhata, a pair of thugs, one being the Horse Man and the Other being the Rhino Man, harass two girls they bumped into. They demand money as the Horse Man’s arm is "broken.” The Rhino Man then demands compensation as bystanders approach to see what's going on. Horse Man yells at them, causing them to run. Rhino Man assures the girls that no one can help them, as neither the police nor heroes come around the backstreets. He tells the girls to come with them; however, one of the girls assures them that there is one hero who can help when he's called. The two thugs then mock the girls for believing that nonsense. One of them calls for the Crawler.

This causes Koichi to appear, which surprises the thugs. Koichi introduces himself as the Crawler and explains how happy he is that people are finally calling him by his real name. the thugs become annoyed by him and start to attack him but he manages to avoid all of their attacks all while commenting how happy he is that people recognize him then Pop☆Step appears and tells Koichi to stop fantasizing and talking while fighting despite his carefree demeanor he keeps dodging all the attacks from the thugs all while he's being cheered by passer-bys after dodging another attack via a somersault he decides to now take the fight seriously he starts using his fighting style: Slap Style he then starts firing several repulsion force blasts at the thugs who don't have enough time to react to him as he fires his Double Shooty-Go-Blam at both of the thugs which doesn't knock them down as the Rhino Man grabs him by his hoodie in order to punch him.

He's saved by Kirihito Kamachi and Ikajiro Takobe as Ikajiro holds the Horse Man, Kirihito subdues the Rhino Man, which stops the fight at once. Kirihito and Ikajiro introduce themselves to the defeated thugs as workers of Hopper's Cafe, with Teruo Unagisawa distributing pamphlets. Kirihito tells the two thugs that if they don't want to be handed to the cops, they should get a job. He then tells them they'll start making 650 yen an hour washing dishes with lunch provided, announcing that they have two new workers as he welcomes them aboard.[2]
