History#
At some point, Gil joined the Gollini Family, which ended up being led by Valdo Gollini, who held great admiration for All Might, bordering on obsession, going so far as to use his own Quirk, Alchemy on himself to shape his entire physique to resemble the Hero.
After the real All Might lost his powersand retired as a hero after his final battle against All For One, Valdo decided to declare himself his successor as the new symbol of peace, leading the family to new heights.
To that end, they learned of the daughter and heir of the wealthy Scervino Family: Anna Scervino, and her Quirk which could modify and enhance Quirks to an immense degree. Valdo led an assault on the Scervino Household, killing almost everyone there and kidnapping her. They learned that only certain "compatible" individuals could make use of Anna's Quirk, with anyone else being hit with a negative reaction upon touching Anna. As a result, the family of thousands was culled down to only eight main individuals.
Ugo was one of those few compatible individuals, along with Deborah, Paulo, Bruno, Kamile, Simon, Ugo, and Valdo Gollini himself.[1]
Synopsis#
With Anna under his control, Valdo led the entire family and takes Anna to Japan, the home country of All Might. Japan has entered a chaotic state of unrest as the result of the Paranormal Liberation War. Shortly after arriving in the country, the Gollini allied themselves with Ginji Kurau, a villain who escaped from the Tartarus prison, and who proved to be one of the few people compatible with Anna's Quirk. However, once Ginji found out Anna's Quirk, he wanted the power for himself, so he tricked her in order to take her and go on a rampage.
Because of his betrayal, the Gollinis immediately go after Ginji to punish him and get Anna back, although they aren't the only ones on her trail. Giulio Gandini, the only survivor of the attack on the Scervino mansion and Anna's close friend, is also after the her, although with other intentions.
The Gollini manage to find Anna when Ginji is facing Izuku Midoriya, a fight that is interrupted when Giulio tried to kill Anna, although Bruno arrived in time to intervene and save the girl's life. With Anna back in their hands, Valdo undoes his mask, revealing that he has the appearance of prime All Might, shocking everyone.
Valdo then touches Anna, allowing his Alchemy Quirk to become immensely enhanced, and turns his floating yacht into a massive fortress, consuming hundreds of citizens in its path, including all the students of Class 1-A. With the transformation complete, Valdo conjures a majestic palace for him and the Gollini Family, with Anna in his possession. He instructs each of the family to have their Quirks enhanced through Anna, and with each family member empowered, they can now begin their next phase.
Several members of the Gollini family confront Giulio and the U.A. students, but are defeated by them. In this situation, Valdo, now under the name of Dark Might, orders the fortress to head towards the U.A. Shelter, where All Might and most of the Heroes and civilians are located, so he can destroy them all and become the only one standing in his ambitions of becoming the Symbol of Peace.
Class 1-A takes action and start evacuating the civilians as quickly as possible, while Izuku, Giulio Katsuki, Shoto, and Fumikage Tokoyami move towards the palace to take back Anna and defeat Dark Might. Upon seeing them through the security cameras, Dark Might orders Bruno, Ugo, and Gil to dispose of them. While Fumikage fends off the horde of monsters at the cave entrance, Katsuki and Shoto engage in combat with Ugo and Gil outside the palace gate to allow Izuku and Giulio to infiltrate.
Katsuki attacks with his Explosion Quirk and Shoto fights back with his Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk, but the duo proves to be formidable opponents working together thanks to Ugo's Quirk, Telekinesis, which can move inanimate objects, and Gil's Quirk, Teleportation, which allows him to move any material or living things he is touching to somewhere . With Gil teleporting around, it is difficult for Shoto and Katsuki to focus on them.
However, after realizing that Gil can only move within his line of vision, the students use their respective Quirks to create a massive conflagration, forcing him to teleport in mid-air along with Ugo, but with his line of sight blocked by the flames, the Villains are left defenseless against Dynamight, who blasts them, allowing Shoto to encase them in a large block of ice. With the foes defeated, Shoto and Dynamight head into the palace to help Deku and Giulio. Gil is last seen encased in ice within the fortress, which later collapsed during the battle between Dark Might and the Heroes, leaving his fate unkown.[1]
