Taishiro Toyomitsu & Police Force vs. Number 6 is a battle the Pro Hero Fat Gum and the Police Force lead by Naomasa Tsukauchi against a villain with a big scar on his face known as Number 6, whose actions cause Koichi Haimawari and Kazuho Haneyama to also become indirectly involved.

Prologue#

Investigating the traffic of Trigger, the Police carries out an operation to dismantle the distribution of the drug and arrest those responsible. With detective Naomasa leading the operation, the clues lead them to the SS Mall in Super Minami in the ward of Osaka. There, the drug is distributed through the country hidden in Kanidoge's food packages. For this operation they have the help of the Hero Fat Gum

One of her agents, Monika Kaniyashiki, pretends to be a worker of Kanidoge.[1] The company goes to SS Mall to attend a local showcase event, and register Monika at the Mascot Idol Carnival, an event highlighting local idols, where she must participate by piloting one of the company's crab mechs. While the police monitor the place through security cameras, Monika happens to meet Koichi and Kazuho, who are also participating in the competition. When it's about to be her turn to go on stage, Monika excuses herself to her manager, saying she needs to go to the bathroom.[2] Due to her delay, the manager manages to convince Kazuho to replace her.

Meanwhile, Monika went to the bathroom just to put on her police gear and went investigate the SS Mall loading dock. Here, she discovers that the Trigger drug is indeed hidden in the packages. She also discovers the criminal responsible for that, disguised as a part-time worker. She alerts her team of a possible suspect, and that the drugs are located in the cooling packs instead of the food. Naomasa states that the rest of the team is proceeding to her location.[1]

Battle#

Having been discovered, Number 6 congratulates Monika and uses his Quirk to snatch her gun and a tablet with vital information. Monika quickly takes cover and requests for reinforcements. Fat Gum and the police force immediately storm the loading dock, with Naomasa ordering everyone to stop what they're doing and put their hands up.

The workers obey, and Fat Gum warns Number 6 to do the same, saying he'll have to deal with him if he tries anything. With a mocking smirk, the villain assures him that he is only there to eliminate the evidence of the Trigger distribution route and has no intention of confronting him.

Number 6 drops the gun, but immediately uses his Quirk on his right arm and speedily writes on the tablet. Naomasa orders him to stop, but Number 6 activates a code in the C.R.A.B. system that causes that several of the Kanidoge's mechs employed by the workers and their lights to glow bright purple before they rush Fat Gum. The hero tries to hold them off, confused by this unexpected attack, but the two mechs push the Hero to the back of the warehouse.[1]

The two mechs pin Fatgum to the ground, who still doesn't understand why the crab mechs are attacking him. One of them hits him on the head with one of its pincers, but this only manages to piss off the hero, who manages to pushes them back and gets ready to retaliate. However, Monika warns him to not fight back, because the innocent workers are trapped one the machines.

Monika asks him to restrain the mechs without harming the hostages. Fat Gum complies and restrains the two mechs by their claws. The machines try to attack him, but their pincers are ineffective due his Quirk, getting stuck in the fat. Monika takes advantage of the opportunity and uses her Snip Clip Quirk to cut the restraints and free the hostages. With the civilians secured, Fat Gum can finally neutralize the mechs without too much trouble.

While Number 6 congratulates them for their actions, detective Naomasa still has his eyes on him and fires a warning shot near his foot, assuring him that next time he won’t miss. Monika warns Naomasa to be careful, as the villain has an acceleration Quirk that gives him extreme speed. Taking into account this information, Naomasa orders the speedster villain to get on the ground slowly. Number 6 just smiles.

Without noticing, the damaged mechs suddenly getting up and approach the batch that containing Trigger. They then stop as their lights start blinking rapidly, before leading out a loud buzz and exploding, destroying all evidence. The villain takes advantage of the distraction to flee with the remaining evidences using his quirk.

While they are recovering, they hear a a commotion in the mall. To her horror, Monika remembers that there is still a Kanidoge's mech totally out of control. Monika fears that, like the other mechs, it could blows up in the middle of the crowd. Fat Gum gets the memo, grabs Monika and runs back to the venue to deal with a Mech that is still active, while Naomasa and the remaining Police Force goes after the speedster villain.[3]

The police chase Number 6, as he‘s not giving up even after verbal commands and warning shots, the Naomasa orders to open fire against him. The villain uses his speed Quirk and dodges all the shots. Eventually, after the Villain stops to gloat, the detective shoots once more, injuring Number 6 in the leg, after deducing that Number 6's acceleration Quirk needs a few seconds of cool down time after using it. With no time to waste, the police rush on to the injured criminal and pin him on the ground.

Despite his situation, Number 6 congratulates Naomasa on his deductive skills, before using Overclock once more, making it seem as if time has nearly frozen around him. He gets away from the cops and and checks the wound on his leg, seeing that it is not very serious, since it was only grazed by Naomasa's shot. Number 6 then takes the gun from one of the other officers, and realizes they were using rubber bullets instead of regular ammunition, explaining why the task force wasn't very hesitant in shooting at him. He still complains about being hurt and decides to enact some payback.

In a blink of an eye, he disarms the whole group of cops and shoot them in their bulletproof vests with their own weapons. While this won't kill them, it will leave them seriously wounded, though the villain maliciously apologizes to a freezed naomasa if anyone ends up dying from their injuries. The world "unfreezes" as the Scarred Man zips past the toll booth, and both Naomasa and the police officers are hit by dozens of rubber bullets fired from their own weapons.

With the police force defeated, the Number 6 bids the wounded Naomasa a knowing farewell and escapes with the remaining evidences without any problem.[4]

While all this was happening, inside the mall, the remaining Crab Mech was rampaging the place, tearing through the stalls with a terrified Kazuho trapped in the machine, unable to free herself or stop the machine. Koichi tries to save her but falls into one of the souvenir stand. The student wishes he brought his All Might hoodie with him so he can assist his teammate, but as luck would have it, one out of a series of them has popped out of those boxes and landed on him in the commotion.

At that moment Fat Gum and Monika arrive, seing the disaster. Monika warns her partner that the mech might blow up if it makes it to the Kanidoge stall, so Fat immediately gives chase to stop it. But despite trying to run as fast as he can, he's too heavy to catch up the mech.

Suddenly, Koichi overtakes them using his Glide and Glide Quirk and jumps onto the mecha, clinging to its back with his Wall Cling. Kazuho feels hopeful upon seeing him, and Koichi is glad that she is unhurt, although he attributes this to his All Might Hoodie that he acquired at the stand where he fell earlier

Kazuho gets annoyed by this nonsense and demands him to set her free immediately. Nervously, Koichi tells her he has no idea how to do it and tries to ask for suggestions, so an angry Kazuho calls him an useless idiot.[3]

Koichi seems to find a lever that stops the Kanidoge mech but it does not work. Meanwhile, they are still being chased by Monika and Fat Gum. Upon realizing that the rampaging mech is almost at the stall, Monika asks Fat Gum to throw her to the mecha. Fat Gum then screeches to halt and tosses his ally down the corridor, allowing Monika to use his Ultimate Move Rocket Crab Clip, with which she cuts the mecha’s legs, preventing it from moving forward.

Because of this attack, Koichi loses his grip and falls to the ground. Monika recognizes him as Pop's manager and immediately orders him to leave, but Koichi tells her that Pop is still in it. Monika asks why on earth she's in the machine, and as they run to rescue her, Koichi explains that she was filling in for her, which makes Monika feel responsible for her situation.

They quickly reach a dizzy Kazuho, and the police officer uses her Quirk again to cuts her out of the device. At that moment, the Crab Mecha's eyes begin to blink in red. Monika realizes that the mecha has begun its self-destruct sequence and warns the other two to get away as quickly as possible before it explodes, urging everyone present to leave as well. Unfortunately Kazuho stumbles and Koichi launches to protect her, still too close to the mech.

At this moment, Fatgum manages to arrive in time and jumps onto the mech, covering it with his enormous body just as it bursts to pieces, absorbing all the kinetic energy with his Fat Absorption Quirk, saving Koichi and Kazuho's life. However, the explosion is powerful enough that he almost automatically has to release the energy again, so he tells the two of them to keep running as he holds enough time for everyone to move away before releasing all the energy.

Once Koichi and Kazuho the two get to safety, Fat Gum expels the energy and blows up. Everyone is worried about him, but when the smoke from the explosion clears, they see that he is fine, only suffering from some minor scratches and torn clothing, as well as losing almost all of his protective fat.

Although the whole place is wrecked, everyone is glad that no one was seriously injured.[4]

Aftermath#

With the situation mostly dealt with, Monika and Fat Gum, now in his low-fat form, run back to the storage room to assist Naomasa. The Kanidoge manager asks her what is going on but she tells him that he will explain it later, just hang on a bit. Koichi and Kazuho know that means them too, but if they wait they will lose the train, and besides, they will have problems with their parents if they find out everything that happened, so they decide to leave, but not before giving the manager a Marukane Department Store business card.

When Monica and Fat return to the warehouse, they find all the police officers injured, including Naomasa, who ended up with several fractures and the arm in a sling. In addition, Number 6 escaped and the evidence about Trigger's traffic were lost.

With no other option, Monika, Fat, and Naomasa, injured, return to the mall to question Koichi and Kazuho, only to discover that the Kanidoge manager had let them go, unaware that they were important witnesses. Realizing his mistake, the manager hands Naomasa the business card they gave him to get in contact with them. The detective is dumbfounded to see his sister's name listed on the card as the event coordinator.[4]
