History#

Kiruka was born with a powerful Quirk, but felt oppressed by the superhuman society that labeled individuals like her as "Villains," and suffered as a result. At one point she was betrayed, leading her unable to trust another person until she met Nine.

She joined Nine and his crew, who sympathized with her feelings, and together, formed a plan to create a world where the strong rule over the weak and powerless without calling one another "Villains" or monsters.

But due to Nine's illness, their plan was limited, so Nine agreed to join the League of Villains and undergo an experiment that could help cure his illness. While hesitant, Kiruka and her teammates agreed to let Nine join the League.[1][2]

Some time after joining the League, Nine escapes and reunites with Kiruka, Chimera and Mummy. He informs them that the experiment was a success and granted him more power, but also worsened the symptoms of his disease. Kiruka and her teammates are shocked and disappointed by the news, but Nine tells them that he needs to find a Quirk capable of healing his cells and tissue in order to bring their dream to reality.

Over the next few weeks, Nine and his crew attack various Heroes and steal their Quirks.

One night in Kyushu, they ambush Mr. Shimano, who Nine discovers has a Cell Activation Quirk. Nine steals Mr. Shimano's Quirk, then proceeds to use his Weather Manipulation Quirk to destroy parts of the city. Kiruka and her teammates are excited to finally set their plans into motion, but their celebration falls short as Nine freezes up in pain due to Mr. Shimano's Cell Activation only being compatible with type A blood cells, whereas Nine has type B blood cells.

Nine's crewmates lament over their struggle to cure Nine being worthless, but Kiruka shows Nine a video recording of Mr. Shimano's, children, Mahoro and Katsuma. Nine and his crew decide to look for the children, suspecting that one of them may have a Quirk compatible with his blood type.

The crew hijack a ferry and travel to Nabu Island, and crash it into the harbor upon arriving. Nine orders his crew to isolate the island as much as possible by causing destruction, while diverting attention from their true goal while he hunts for the Shimano siblings. Kiruka starts by using her Quirk, Slice, to destroy all ships at the harbor while Nine, Chimera and Mummy continue their attack.

Kiruka comes to aid Nine due to not being able to continue fighting due to his cell degeneration disease, and attempts to take Katsuma. Unfortunately, she is blinded by a swarm of crows summoned by Koji Koda's Anivoice, allowing the Shimanos and Heroes to escape. Kiruka uses a flare gun to signal her allies to retreat.

While regrouping in a lighthouse, Nine, Kiruka, and Chimera realize that Mummy is captured, and promise to make their dream come true.

The next morning, a recovered Nine, Kiruka, and Chimera make their way to Mount Shiroyama, when Yuga Aoyama uses his Ultimate Move, Supernova. Kiruka breaks away from her comrades, and is further separated by shots from cannons created by Momo Yaoyorozu, making her fall into an underground cavern.

In the cavern, Kiruka engages close combat with Fumikage Tokoyami with Mina Ashido providing support with her Acid Quirk. Kiruka proves to be formidable against Fumikage despite being surrounded by darkness, matching him with her swift combat ability. Fumikage is able to make an opening for Mina to use her Ultimate Move, Acid Shot, which destroys much of Kiruka's hair. Kiruka retaliates by firing multiple barrages of sharp needles at Dark Shadow and Mina, wounding the latter.

Enraged, Fumikage goes berserk and Dark Shadow becomes a massive monstrosity, surprising Kiruka. Dark Shadow viciously attacks Kiruka, who barely dodges the attacks. Kiruka shoots needles at the cavern ceiling before she is defeated by Dark Shadow, but the cavern collapses on top of them.

After Nine's defeat, Kiruka, Chimera, and Mummy are arrested and taken into custody.[2]
