History#

Kirihito Kamachi was a person who liked to consume Trigger. Although his friends Jiro and Ichiro Hotta warned him to keep away from the more suspicious drugs and tried to dissuade him to buy the new adulterated version, he ignored them.

The Villain Factory, responsible for distributing the adulterated Trigger, saw potential in his Quirk, and decided to kidnap Kirihito and experiment on him to transform it into a Next-Level Villain. His disappearance left the Hotta brothers worried.[1]

Synopsis#

Osaka Incident Arc#

Time later the Villain Factory release him in the streets of Naruhata. Kirihito, already transformed into Next-Level Villain, is rampaging the place when The Crawler confronts him. However, the vigilante is overwhelmed by Kirihito's empowered strength and speed, and the villain chases the boy down the street.

Koichi asks for help from several of his allies he meets while escaping, but they wish him good luck and don't interfere. Finally Pop☆Step appears, and after advertising a new show at the Marukane Department Store, she calls Captain Celebrity to help Koichi. The hero arrives, and after showing off a little to passersby (to Koichi's dismay), he easily defeats Kirihito,[2] who is sent to jail.

Days later, Eraser Head meets with the Hotta brothers so that they can tell him everything they know about Kirihito.[1]

Team Ups Arc#

After spending some time in prison, he is released and all his charges were dropped after the police learned that he was a victim, since the Villain Factory bio-engineered on him. However, when he returns to his apartment, he discovers that he can’t get in the place because his new body is too big. Therefore, the Hotta Brothers decide to welcome him and let him live in their warehouse.

Days later, Naomasa Tsukauchi and Shota Aizawa goes to the Hotta brothers' shop to meet with him and talk about his kidnapping by the Villain Factory, but the only thing that he wants to complain is about how today's society discriminates against those who are physically different, like him. The others consider that he just exaggerates too much.[3]

Some time later, Kirihito gets involved in a fight against Octoid, another Next-Level Villain, which had been attracted to the warehouse where he lives by Shota, Koichi and the Hotta brothers. He was enjoying his tea time and listening music when suddenly Jiro Hotta arrives and suggests him to leave the place, but Kirihito is upset and admonishes him for invading his privacy without being announced. Then, Koichi arrives and is surprised to find there the Mantis Villain against whom he fought weeks ago. His attitude annoys Kamachi and reproaches him that he can not judge people and treat them as villains because of their appearance. And then Shota and Ichiro arrive.

Kirihito thinks that what the four of them are doing doesn’t seem like his business, and he continues with his teatime. Then, Octoid arrives and causes great mess in the place. This makes Kirihito mad and attacks the villain. However, since he no longer consumes Trigger, he is much weaker that before, being overtaken by Octoid.[4] Fortunately the others intervene and manage to capture the Next-Level Villain.

However, another entanglement with Kirihito release Octoid by accident, who runs away. The struggle also makes the warehouse collapses. Kirihito says that what happened is not his fault, but the others tell him to shut up and everyone go after Octoid, who they find unconscious and badly wounded for unknown reasons.[5]

School Days Arc#

Following the Octoid incident, Kirihito lives in a tent in the place where his warehouse used to be. Later, Octoid, whose real name is Ikajiro Takobe, got discharged, and the Hotta brothers decide to take him since actually he is not a bad person and his past acts were due to the influence of the Trigger and the machinations of the Villain Factory.

Ikajiro lives together with Kirihito for a time in tents, but the situation could not continue like this, so they and the Hotta brothers devised plans for the future. The four decide to stop dealing with Trigger and closing the Recycle Shop, to open a café-shop. They plan to use the villain damage insurance payment for the destruction of their warehouse and the welfare subsidy that Takobe and Kirihito get for oversized housing. One of Kirihito's suggestion for the café-shop is that it should have gigantic bathrooms for larger customers.

A few days later, Shota and Koichi go to the Recycle Shop, and the brothers, Kirihito and Ikajiro explain the situation and their plans for the future. Koichi brings a cat with him, and upon seeing it Ikajiro decides to adopt it and suggests the idea to make a cat café-shop. Kirihito supports the idea as he is sure it will make people come in droves.[6]

Final Performance Arc#

There is a time skip of two years. In that time, the Hotta brothers open the Hopper's Cafe, with Kirihito as manager.

One day, he and Ikajiro help Koichi and Pop to defeat and capture a two thugs who were harassing a couple of girls in Naruhata. Kirihito starts criticizing thugs and advises them that if they don't want to have problems with the police, they should get a job, and tells them salary and the conditions of being a dishwasher at Hopper's Café. Kirihito happily announces that they already hired two more workers. The girls ask Koichi and Pop to take a picture with them, they accept although Kirihito, Ikajiro, and others decide to join the photo shoot.[7]

Weeks later, an incident occurs: Kazuho Haneyama has not given any signs for several days, and not even her family knows where she may be. Koichi goes to look for her in the places she usually frequents, including Hopper's Café, informing the staff of her disappearance and ask for help in finding her.

After looking for her all day, Kazuho ends up showing up, but totally changed and into a new and anarchistic persona, Bee☆Pop,[8] who decides to bomb Naruhata and confront Koichi, while playing a song she composed. Kirihito and his workmates witness how Bee☆Pop manages to defeat Koichi before leaving the place, promising that she will return for another "show".[9]

The next day, all the Hopper's staff watch the news about the incident, in which it is reported that Kazuho has been declared a villain. Neither Ichiro nor Jiro can help but worry about her situation and the current events. Kirihito, for his part, wonders what Koichi is to up. When the Hotta brothers ask him the reason for that, Kirihito replies that these kinda things are his speciality.[10]

A week goes by until Bee☆Pop decides to bomb Naruhata again to the sound of his music. While the heroes who were patrolling Naruhata try to stop her, Koichi and Kazuho's friends and acquaintances take cover at Hopper's Cafe, watching the Kazuho rampage online, and expressing concern over the situation. Ichiro is sure that the café shop is safe from the battle. Some wonder if they can do something, but are reminded that there are already many heroes on the scene, so it's no place for civilians. Kirihito corrects that statement by saying that it's not a place for ordinary civilians, hinting that Koichi will appear to stop Pop.[11]

As he predicted, Koichi ends up showing up to stop Bee☆Pop, interfering with the actions of the heroes there.[12] With his arrival, the controlled Kazuho plays a song that she composed especially for that moment. Kirihito and the others listen to the song from Hopper's Café, commenting on the harsh but sad lyrics of it.[13] Finally, after much trouble, Koichi manages to defeat Bee☆Pop and rescue Kazuho.
