Kaiju is the Quirk used by Ryuichi Gojiyama.[1]
Description#
Kaiju is only seen while Ryuichi is on Trigger, so its normal effects are unknown. What has been shown is that this Quirk allows Ryuichi to turn into a massive dinosaur-like beast resembling Godzilla, with Kuin Hachisuka comparing it to Gigantification in that regard.[1]
Trivia#
- This Quirk is a reference to Godzilla, making it similar to Toho in that aspect.
- The anime slightly redesigned Ryuichi's transformation to more closely resemble Godzilla himself, with Ryuichi's vocals being modified Zilla roars from the 1998 Tristar Godzilla film, combined with TIE Fighter sound effects from Star Wars.
