The Perfect Shot is the forty-sixth chapter of My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions, written and illustrated by Yoco Akiyama.
Summary#
Wanting Class 1-A to get used to being in the public eye as heroes, Midnight hired Sankyaku Kamehara to spend a week photographing them. He dedicated himself heavily to this task, constantly following the class with his camera, and managing to get "perfect shots" of each class member except Izuku. At the end of the week, he presented a slideshow of the "perfect shots" to the class.
First photo shown was Mashirao Ojiro posing while fighting, which amazes the class as Sankyaku mentions the composition of Mashirao's movement makes the photo great. Afterwards its Fumikage Tokoyami in the light whilst Dark Shadow is in the dark. Next is Toru Hagakure dancing in the sun where someone commented that you could feel the transparency. Then there's Kyoka Jiro stringing her guitar and Koji Koda sitting on the couch with his pet rabbit on his lap.
Sankyaku commwnts that the standard approach worked on everyone except Katsuki Bakugo, since whenever Sankyaku tried to take a picture of Katsuki it would look destrutctive. So, then came an idea from Sankyaku's head. Sankyaku changed his prespective to thinking he was taking a good photo of a villain instead of a hero, which led to Sankyaku getting his photo. The only person who doesnt have a photo is Izuku.
Having been unable to get one of Izuku, he asked to continue trying, and Izuku agreed. However, time passed, and Sankyaku was still unable to get a shot he was happy with. Eventually, Izuku asked if there was some way he could help, but Sankyaku refused, wanting to get the shot passively. As they spoke, scaffolding from a nearby construction project began to collapse, and Izuku rushed to herd away a nearby crowd. Deciding that his hero work would result in Deku's "perfect shot", Sankyaku climbed onto a nearby roof to get a picture; however, the scaffolding fell to the side, directly above Sankyaku.
Before the scaffolding landed, Sankyaku was saved by Izuku, who rushed from the ground to grab him out of the way. Sankyaku panicked that he had gotten involved in Deku's work, but Deku responded that it was fine as long as he wasn't hurt, and Sankyaku realized that he really wouldn't mind helping him get the "perfect shot". Finally, Sankyaku asked Deku to help him get a good picture, and they went to take staged photos of Deku in All Might's and Mirko's outfits.
