Katsuki Bakugo: Origin is the seventh volume of the My Hero Academia series.

Volume Cover and Illustration#

The title logo is orange and white with shades of black and orange. The author's name and surname is written in black with an orange outline, and is located on the bottom left corner. Katsuki Bakugo is featured predominantly on the cover. It looks like he is preparing for battle, screaming at the top of his lungs. The backgrounds features the training ground where he is taking the practical portion of the End of Term Test, which is surrounded by rubble and smoke.

The illustration comprises of Kyoka and Momo in a trashed office space, dressed up in a formal work suit and glasses, with a look of confidence on their faces.

Volume Summary#

Izuku has learned a few tricks from Gran Torino, but some things just have to be experienced to be understood. Even though he’s not ready, when the League of Villains attacks in the town of Hosu, Izuku rushes to help Tenya, who is engaged in a life-and-death struggle with Hero Killer Stain. Stain has some very particular ideas about heroes and their place in society—and he means to purge the world of every hero he can find!
