Overdrive, full name Gearshift: Overdrive, is an Ultimate Move performed by Deku using the Gearshift and Fa Jin Quirks.[1]
Description#
By activating Gearshift on himself, Deku is able to propel his body at great speeds toward his opponents in order to land powerful attacks. This boost in speed and power is able to be applied to existing Ultimate Moves. Fa Jin is also used to give the move even greater speed.
Deku uses this move against "Tomura Shigaraki" during the Final War, in which he performs an Overdrive-enhanced Detroit Smash against the villain.[2]
