Legato, full name Heartbeat Surround: Legato, is an Ultimate Move performed by Earphone Jack using the Earphone Jack Quirk.[1]
Description#
Like her Heartbeat Surround move, Earphone Jack uses her amplification equipment to channel her heartbeat into a loud blast of sound and fire it at her opponent, but unlike the original, this version is on a larger scale, seemingly with more power, and with more sound generated.
Earphone Jack first uses this move against All For One during the Final War. Hawks takes advantage of this move to use his Soundwave Vibration-Enhanced Flight Feather Blade move, shattering the Villain's life support helmet.
Due to All For One's attack blowing off her left earphone jack, Kyoka now uses only the right one for this move.
Trivia#
- Legato refers to a concept in musical notation that indicates that musical notes are being played smoothly and without silence/breaks.
