Froppy Style is an Ultimate Move performed by Deku using the Blackwhip Quirk.
Description#
Froppy Style is an alternative method of using Blackwhip developed by Deku, which consists of shooting a tendril from his mouth instead from his arms as usual. This style is named after his classmate, Tsuyu Asui, and is named after her Hero name Froppy.[1] Deku was inspired by Tsuyu's ability to use her powerful extending tongue granted by her Frog Quirk, after having asked her for help with his training with Blackwhip.[2]
Deku uses this Ultimate Move during the Paranormal Liberation War. After his arms ended up broken and disabled after his confrontation against Tomura Shigaraki, Deku used Froppy Style to help Shoto when he was facing Dabi.[1] Deku would use it again to try and stop All For One when he escaped after taking over Tomura's body.[3]
