Delaware Smash is an Ultimate Move performed by Deku using the One For All Quirk.
Description#
Deku uses One For All at full power and flicks his fingers to create powerful shockwaves. The force of this attack has enough power to shatter large waves of ice instantly. Deku first used this technique against the Villains in the Shipwreck Zone of the U.S.J.[1] He uses it once again during Class 1-A's fight with All Might during their return to the U.S.J. He later uses it in his fight against Shoto Todoroki during the U.A. Sports Festival.[2]
At first, this technique ravages his fingers, but with his improved control over One For All and the support gloves created by Mei Hatsume, he can use it without damaging his fingers.[3]
Deku later uses this move against Tomura Shigaraki using his whole hand and in combination with Fa Jin, unleashing an extremely powerful air blast capable of gouging out the ground underneath it. This was done to prevent Tomura's Decay from affecting the ground, though it was only a stopgap measure.[4]
Variations#
Delaware Smash Air Force: Deku uses his gloves to direct a blast of compressed air against his foe. By using all five of his fingers, he can launch up to four Delaware Smashes simultaneously.

- The name of the attack refers to the state of Delaware in the United States of America. It is one of the smallest states in the country, fitting for an attack limited to fingers.
