Deadbolt is an Ultimate Move performed by Rock Lock using the Lock Down Quirk.[1]
Description#
By touching a nearby surface and performing a 180° spin with his hand, Rock Lock secures his immediate area down in a point of space.
This move prevents anybody from manipulating the environment against him, as seen when he first used it against Joi Irinaka.
Rock Lock used this move again while chasing the League of Villains alongside other Pro Heroes, this time utilizing it to make his vehicle overturn and remain static in the air. This was to both avoid the car from continuing to roll over, as well as to protect himself and his partner from Dabi's fire.[2]
