Family#
Parents#
While Danjuro's relationship with his parents is mostly unclear, they appeared to be supportive of his dream in becoming a Pro Hero. When a life counsellor urged Danjuro to abandon his dream and find another path in life, saying that he just doesn't have what it takes to become a hero no matter how hard he tried, his mother was brought to tears, showing that she cared for him and his ambitions.
Their relationship would be brought to ruin however after Danjuro tried to save a falling man using his Quirk, only to intercept a Pro Hero from saving him and causing the victim to be gravely injured. Danjuro's parents were then saddled with paying the man's medical bills, as well as fines for him hindering a Hero and using his Quirk while unlicensed, thus plummeting them deep into debt. Their house was also vandalized due to the incident. His parents finally threw him out following his expulsion from school. It can be assumed that Danjuro's mistake caused them much pain and financial ruin, as his mother yelled and threw things at him as he left his parents' home for good.
Villains#
La Brava#
La Brava and Gentle are partners, as Gentle commits crimes and La Brava records and uploads them. The two seem to be friendly with each other and exchange their motivations. La Brava also admires Gentle and his ideals, in return Gentle appreciates La Brava's efforts in helping him become a notorious villain. He also seems to reciprocate the love she feels for him.
Gentle is shown to care about Manami's feelings; after seeing the complex she had over the dark circles around her eyes, he gave himself dark circles like hers with a permanent marker so they would have something in common, much to her delight.
Gentle acknowledges Manami's love for him and her dependence on him to be happy. At the same time, Gentle did not want La Brava to be arrested and face charges for being his accomplice. When turning himself in to U.A., he claims that he had brainwashed her to avoid her getting into trouble.
After preventing the Mizuku Prison inmates from escaping, Danjuro requested the authorities that he wanted to see Manami, and during the Final War the two are reunited. It is revealed that the time they spent apart only deepened their love for one another, leading to Danjuro, dramatically boosted by Manami's Lover Mode, to stop the U.A. fortress from falling from the sky. Manami went a step further by live streaming the whole thing, saying that she wouldn't allow Gentle's heroism to go unnoticed.
Eight years following the Final War, Danjuro and Manami are shown to be married and now run a programming company known as GeL Inc. (in reference to their aliases, Gentle and La Brava).
Stain#
Despite not knowing him personally, Gentle holds some jealously towards Stain, who became popular in the media due to the recording of his arrest going viral. Gentle is currently trying to surpass Stain in internet views, searching for the perfect opportunity to do so.[1]
U.A. High School#
Izuku Midoriya#
At first glance, he treated Izuku as no more than an obstacle that had to be removed, but after learning that he was a student of U.A. High School he developed an interest.[2] As they fought more, he gained a begrudging respect for the latter and steadily confided more of his past to him.[3] After he lost the match and learned of Izuku’s dream, he treated him as an equal and told him to keep moving forward.
Izuku on the other hand, at first treated him like a threat and remained hostile to him.[4] However, after fighting him more and finding out Gentle's past, he treated him with more respect and care. After defeating Gentle he remained worried about him, even after being blasted into the air.[5]
