Lover Mode is an Ultimate Move performed by La Brava using the Love Quirk.[1]
Description#
When La Brava declares her love for Gentle Criminal, for a limited time, Gentle is granted an increase in power. The more intense her love is, the stronger the transferred power will be. Since her love for Gentle is extremely intense, the power-up granted to him is extremely strong. If the ability is activated in a moment of crisis, then his power jumps exponentially. Therefore, when correctly applied, Lover Mode can be nearly unstoppable, especially in conjunction with Gentle's extremely versitilate Elasticity Quirk.
La Brava and Gentle used this ability several times as a last resort to escape.[2]
Due to La Brava and Gentle being separated for an extended period of time, Lover Mode received an increase in power in addition to its other boosts, as absence causes her affection to intensify. The increase in strength resulting from when Gentle and her were separated during his imprisonment allowed him to hold up the entirety of U.A. High School as it was falling out of the sky.[3]
