Class 1-B#
Shihai Kuroiro#
Kinoko appears to be impressed with Shihai's powers and technique, often complimenting him for being a scheming planner. Although the two interact a fair amount in the Joint Training Battle, she is unaware of his infatuation with her.[1]
They later do their Hero Work-Studies at the same agency.
In the time-skip, it is revealed by Toru Hagakure that they are dating, and had been going out for some time, with Mina Ashido commenting they didn't show any signs on the recent mission she went on with them.[2]
Itsuka Kendo#
While little interaction is seen, Kinoko and Itsuka seem to be good friends as they are seen oftentimes together, especially during team-ups. Kinoko was on Itsuka's team during the Calvary Battle at the U.A. Sports Festival and when Itsuka decided that it was fair to allow Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and Ibara Shiozaki to move up to the tournament event, Kinoko with no words shyly agrees.[3] It also appears that Itsuka is Kinoko’s supportive person, as Kinoko is aesthetically shown struggling to keep herself together during earlier school activities beside her, but eventually finds her charisma. They eventually team-up again in the Joint Training Battle during Round 2 and once again during a Team-Up Mission where Kendo called Kinoko ‘pretty upbeat’ about the idol convention. Itsuka was also briefly concerned for her when she hesitated to attack the villains.[4]
Class 1-A#
Fumikage Tokoyami#
Kinoko and Fumikage interact for the first time during the second round of the Joint Training Battle.
Although Fumikage manages to restrain her, Kinoko is able to outsmart and defeat him with her Quirk, allowing her team to win.[1] However, after the match she shows a kind side to him when she apologized to Fumikage for using too much of her Quirk on him and telling him to take necessary medicine to better himself, as he told her not to pity him.[5]
Despite this, it is later shown that the two have bonded during the aftermath of the Joint Training Battle since she heard of his internship with Hawks and asked for pictures.[6]
