Heatetsu[1] is an Ultimate Move performed by Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu using the Steel Quirk.
Description#
While having Steel activated, Tetsutetsu absorbs massive amounts of heat into his body until he glows bright red. He then proceeds to rush his opponent with strong, superhot blows.
Tetsutetsu first used this move against Shoto Todoroki during the third round of the Joint Training Battle, after channeling the heat from his adversary's Wall of Flames. He developed the move as a result of specialized Quirk training, which consisted of him spending several hours inside a lit furnace while constantly maintaining his steel form.[2]
While strong, this move doesn't make Tetsutetsu completely immune from high temperatures, as he frequently expressed pain when Shoto started raising the intensity of his fire to overpower the move. According to Shoto, after a certain threshold is reached, Tetsutetu's body becomes susceptible to melting from the extreme heat.[3]
