Feathers is an underground idol duo made up of twins Miu and Yu, that was called to perform at the Marukane Department Store Live Event.
Appareance#
Both sisters wear idol costumes in white and light and dark blue colors with the same design, consisting of a knee-length, sleeveless dress with a pointed skirt and a thick collar around her shoulders, a large feather decorating it to one side, tights, and one long glove covering her arm.
What sets them apart is the fact that their outfits are designed to be mirror images of each other: Miu's design faces left where Yu's faces right, and the colors are also reversed.
History#
At some point in their lives, Miu and Yu decided to work together to form an idol group, which they named "Feathers". Prior to the start of Narufest, it's noted that the Feathers have performed at a number of smaller venues, gaining some recognition for their performances.[1]

Alongside Pop☆Step, the East Naruhata High Dance Squad, and the Mad Hatters, Feathers performed at their first big concert: the Narufest, forming together to become the FeatherHATS.[2]
Trivia#
- According to Hideyuki Furuhashi, he imagines that the Feathers didn't start out as indie idols and are more like impromptu performers who were thrown onstage by a family member during a live event, making them not so different from Pop☆Step.[3]
- Betten Court reveals that design-wise, the Feathers resemble left-right symmetry which requires both of them to perform onstage. He also reveals that he pictured them with wings at first rather than feathers and wishes that he gave them slightly softer edges.[3]
