Eiji Okameda is an Instant Villain from My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.
Appearance#
Eiji's normal appearance is unknown, as he is only seen after being injected with Trigger, even when using his Quirk, Eiji's appearance is still unclear even after being transformed into an Instant Villain.
What can be assumed is that he is a giant turtle resembling Gamera, with a combination of Gigantification, Flight, and Turtle-based abilities. Despite being mostly in his shell, he is shown to have eyes after Captain Celebrity defeated him.
Synopsis#
Vs. Queen Bee Arc#
Eiji is first seen invading Naruhata after being injected with Trigger. Captain Celebrity arrives and defeats Eiji with ease, while being cheered on by his male cheering squad.[2] Some time after his defeat, Eiji was returned to normal and was possibly arrested.[1]

Quirk#
Gigantic Spinning Flying Turtle: While on Trigger, Eiji is seen transforming into a gigantic turtle, and spin and fly in midair. It is unknown what Eiji's regular capabilities with his Quirk are.
Trivia#
- Eiji's name contains the kanji for "large", "turtle", "rice field", "reflection, projection", and "boss, to rule".
- Eiji's surname may be also be a pun on "Ōkame da" (大亀だ), which is Japanese for "It's a giant turtle".
- Eiji's Quirk and appearance is a parody of Gamera. His name containing both "大" and "映" is also a reference to Daiei Film, Gamera's original copyright holder.
- Additionally, a civilian witnessing Eiji's rampage is stopped from making a reference to Gamera, out of fear of a potential lawsuit.[2]
- In the anime, Eiji was replaced by a gigantic flying crab.
