Darkness is the Quirk used by Koki Terumoto.[1]
Description#
Darkness allows the user to manifest a misty, dark purple liquid from their fingers and soles of their feet. When released into the surroundings, it will blanket the area and terrain with it, causing anything sprayed with it to sink into said substance. Its full potential, drawbacks, and other capabilities remain unknown.[2]
When Koki's Quirk first appeared, it poured out of his hands and feet, filling the living room and terrifying his family.[2] This Quirk is said to be a variant unrelated to any of the abilities in Koki's family, similar to Eri's Rewind, and was the reason why they locked him away.[3]
In the manga, the substance appears like a solid fluid, similar to ink or sludge. In the anime, the substance emits a purple smog, which also appears as the Quirk is activated.
Trivia#
- The abilities of the Quirk resemble the abilities of Marshall D. Teach's Yami-Yami no Mi/Dark-Dark Fruit powers from One Piece.
- Both feature the ability to generate strange dark energy that absorbs whatever it touches.
