History with Series#
Bones Inc. is split up into six studios, lettered A - F, that each work on different projects. The first season of the anime was produced by Studio A under Naoki Amano, known for Noragami, Gosick, and Wolf's Rain.
Starting in Season 2 and for the remainder of the main series, the production of everything My Hero Academia related is handled by Studio C under Yoshihiro Oyabu, who previously produced Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Anime Episodes, and Soul_Eater_(series)#Anime.
The only exception was My Hero Academia: You're Next, which was produced by Studio B under Tatsuya Saitō, who also handled Eureka Seven, Space Dandy, and Mob Psycho 100.
In October 2024, Bones Inc. spun off its production department into a separate subsidiary named Bones Film Inc., with all their animated projects released starting in 2025 being credited under the label. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is the first series production to be released under this mandate, with it also being produced by Studio B.
