My Personal Favorite Chapters#

Out of all 52 chapters, which ones are my favorites?

MISSION 9: USE ILLUSIONS RESPONSIBLY, KAY? The one where I put theme park attractions to use. I'm a fan of exciting, bustling theme parks, but also the dismal, defunct ones.

MISSION 27: SURREAL HEROISM Delving into the world of art means I get to go in a wacky direction, right? That was the thought with this one. Look how poor Deku ended up... And I'm sorry for sealing you into a painting, Kacchan ·

MISSION 48: U.A.'S TEXTILE ARTS CLUB I got really excited in the prep meeting for this one, imagining these two in high school. This is one version of what their past may have looked like...

Congrats on Finishing TUM!!#

Afterword#

This has been the final volume of Team-Up Missions! I've had the honor of being part of the My Hero Academia world for the past ten years, and that decade somehow flew by.

My first foray into the franchise was as an assistant on chapter 1 of the main MHA manga series, and everything that followed felt like a dream made reality. Between the anime, the movies, the stage play, and so on, there wasn't a day that went by without some form of MHA media, and you could barely step outside without spotting kids running around while imitating Deku.

This manga of mine also emerged from that boom. I had the privilege of borrowing these characters and their world for a spin-off series, and let me tell you-each chapter was an unimaginably monumental task and a learning experience every step of the way. But the fun I had creating this series always outweighed the hardship, and for that, I have to thank my editor, my assistants, and everyone else involved in the production.

And of course, I have to thank Horikoshi Sensei, who always found time in his busy schedule to look over my chapters.

I feel more keenly than ever that manga has this incredible power to bring people together. That driving force comes in the form of passion for a given series, and it's been an irreplaceable experience for me to witness up close and personal how MHA gained steam and spread across the world, with more and more people becoming involved along the way.

I'm truly glad that I got to work on TUM. Despite my many shortcomings, please know that I gave this series my full effort. If there were any stories you were still wishing might be told, I hope I managed to contribute to the joy that the world of MHA brings to the table.

Once again, thank you!
