The Gentle Chapter#
Since every chapter so far has featured heroes, I got the urge to do one about a villain.
Given the prison setting of Gentle's chapter, I tackled the content in a more serious, less goofing around. I was concerned that TUM readers wouldn't appreciate that shift in tone, but the survey results were pretty positive. That shocked me.
Something about approaching a chapter this way felt refreshing to me.
Above all else, Gentle is just a fantastic character ·
The Guest Characters#
These side characters are exclusive to TUM. I had a lot of fun coming up with them.
KAMEHARA His three-legged design is actually kind of terrifying.
MADAM The pieces of the outfit she's wearing were all acquired during those blowout sales. In her day-to-day life, she's actually a very nice lady.
Afterword#
The original My Hero Academia series is now over.
After reading the final chapter in Jump, I experienced a whole jumble of emotions and got this weird, pounding headache. I can't put spoilers here, but I'd recommend that everyone check out the series and read the story of Deku and company to the very end!
As a reader myself, I'm so glad I got to read the whole thing, from chapter 1 to the final chapter!
