Extra Content from Volume 1 (Team-Up Missions).
Greetings#
Hello, my name is Yoco Akiyama.
If you've ever wondered, "What if these characters teamed up?!" this spin-off series is for you.
My Hero Academia is full of so many awesome and charming characters that my mind ends up racing ahead, wanting nothing more than to draw one, then the next, and sometimes my drawing hand can't even keep up! I'm working hard in the hope that you get a kick out of it!
Let the team-up missions begin!
One-Shots/Side Stories#
A good half of this book consist of side stories, doesn't it...? I don't think I realized it myself until it was too late.
- Team-Up Missions: The Prequel - One-shot from Jump GIGA P. 7-21
- Who's Prince Charming?! - One-shot from Weekly Shonen Jump P. 119-153
- The Heroes Are Here! - One-shot from Saikyo Jump P. 155-175
- Everyone Is Someone's Hero - One-shot from Weekly Shonen Jump celebrating the theatrical premiere of the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes movie. P. 177-191
Everyone Is Someone's Hero#
Melissa faces off against Hatsume in chapter 3, but this is her origin story. David's Quirk was never shown in the movie My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, so I got to decide what it was. Sorry if I made it a weird one!
I was so very happy when Horikoshi Sensei and many others said they liked this one-shot.
Illustrations from Horikoshi Sensei & Four-Panel Comics: My Hero(ine) Academia#
When this spin-off first started, Horikoshi Sensei sent me some comments along with a pair of drawings.
And here they are for you to see! Across two whole pages! Thank you, Horikoshi Sensei!
Izuku: "An illustration of the real me!"
Message from Kohei Horikoshi#
The full-fledged spin-off has begun! The person drawing it is Akiyama Sensei whose Saguri-Chan Tankentai (Saguri's Expedition Team), a four-volume series made me a total fan! This spin-off shows a bunch of interactions and team-ups between this one, that one, and the other one-all things that you don't get to see in the main series! It's an awesome manga that doesn't skimp on the details!
Message from Kohei Horikoshi 2#
P.S. Please include Saguri-Chan if you want, Akiyama Sensei. Just turn her into "Explorer Hero: Saguri-Chan." She can even be a student at U.A. Please make it happen. Then you can slowly but surely shove the My Hero Academia characters into the corner and make Saguri-Chan the protagonist of the series. I want more Saguri-Chan. I really, really do. Please do right by Saguri-Chan.
Afterword#
Thank you for reading this far.
Imagining how team-ups between different kids will turn out is exciting.
Going forward, I'm planning to feature the characters who didn't get much time in the spotlight in volume 1.
See you in volume 2!
Sagari-Chan Tankentai is a previous series of mine. There are four volumes total. Please check out Saguri-Chan if you're interested.
