Family#
Jiro Hotta#
Ichiro has an excellent relationship with his twin brother. Both have the same way of thinking, acting and behaving, which makes both help and support each other in each project and business, whether it is dealing with trigger or just running a café-shop, agreeing on everything, without disagreements between them. This understanding also carries over when they are fighting, as both brothers are capable of perfectly attacking in unison without hindering each other.
Hopper's Cafe Staff#
Kirihito Kamachi#
Kirihito has a good relationship with the brothers Ichiro and Jiro, who call him Kamayan affectionately. They recognize that he is not very smart and kind of self-centered, tending to exaggerate his complains. However the brothers care for him and help him whenever they can; They warn him to keep away from the suspicious new Trigger, being worried when he suddenly disappeared.[1] Weeks later they provided Kirihito their his warehouse so that he had a place to live when he could not return to his apartment due to his transformed new body.[2]
Later, when they open their café-shop, they hire their friend as the manager.[3]
Ikajiro Takobe#
The first encounter Ichiro and Jiro had with Ikajiro Takobe was as enemies, when Ikajiro was the Next-Level Villain Octoid. The two brothers helped Shota and Koichi to defeat and capture him.[4] Later, when Ikajiro regains his reasoning and gets discharged, the brothers realize that Ikajiro isn't a bad person, and that his previous behavior was due to the Villain Factory's experiments, so they decide to take him, accepting him as a partner and cook at their Hopper's Cafe. They even accept his idea to make their establishment a cat café.[5]
Pro Heroes#
Eraser Head#
At first, Shota had a confrontation with them, while investigating the traffic of Trigger. They attack him, but Shota defeats them easily. The Hotta Brothers avoid being arrested for their illicit dealings by becoming Shota's associates.[1] Since then, Shota uses their store as his impromptu hideout, which frustrates the brothers to no end, and they have no problems to protest to him for this. Shota does not care about their opinions about him (although he admits they make good coffee).[6] Still, they do not hesitate to lending him a hand in the fight with Octoid.[4]
Over time they even come to appreciate him, to the point that when they decide to open their café, they include him in their plans, where he will have his own assigned seat.[5]
Midnight#
Both Ichiro and Jiro are big fans of Nemuri Kayama, so unlike the annoyance they feel when Shota uses their shop for his meetings, the brothers have no problem with Midnight doing the same, being delighted with her presence and attending her at all times with kindness and promptness.[7]
Allies#
Koichi Haimawari#
Ichiro and Jiro Hotta first met Koichi in person when they assisted him and Shota in their fight against Octoid. After this, Koichi usually goes to his store thinking that it is an off-shoot of Eraser’s agency, much to the dismay of the brothers, especially when he intentionally lures villains near his store to have Shota deal with them.
As with Shota, the brothers were not very happy with his constant presence, but over time they ended up accepting and appreciating him.
